A grip change during George’s lesson improved his setup tremendously! ⛳️🏌🏼
Graham did a great job yesterday during his lesson “showing me his shoe”! ⛳️
We also took some breaks during his lesson to fill divots with sand. 🤗
During our chipping lesson, I had Liam chip with a teed up golf ball. It helped him feel a swing arc that swings down rather than up!⛳️

Cindy’s misses were thin and heavy shots. Her improvement on her takeaway resulted in much more consistent shots! ⛳️

To practice our balance, he practiced shots with his feet together. This is one of my favorite drills for juniors! ⛳️🏌🏼

Julianna’s lesson consisted of some setup changes. On the left she was standing a little far away from the ball. Now, when she sets up to the golf ball she drops her right hand to see if it is in line with her golf grip. This is a great way for golfers to check if they are standing the correct distance away from the golf ball! ⛳️🏌️♀️

Some impact improvements during yesterday’s lesson! When a student has there left arm chicken winged at impact, one of my favorite drills is to put 1/4 of a pool noodle under their left arm above their elbow and hit half shots. If the pool noodle drops, the student has immediate feedback.⛳️🏌🏼
Yesterday’s bunker lesson was about splashing the circle of sand onto green. Afterwards, Jacob and his brother had a competition to see who get more golf balls out of the bunker and onto the green. ⛳️🏌🏼
Cooper had his first lesson yesterday! He did a great job squashing the fly with his left foot on his finish!
Jack was moving his lower body in his putting stroke and it caused him to have two misses:
🔹 striking the ground before the ball
🔹making contact with the ball on his up swing which caused the ball to go in the air
⛳️ He made putting strokes with his feet together.
⛳️ We adjusted his stance to be more narrow.
Great lesson the other day! Bryce’s miss was a little left of his target. We weakened his right hand and his ball was much more on target! ⛳️
Ryker did great hitting trick shots with his driver off his knees! I used this drill to help him feel a more circular swing around his body! ⛳️

Isabella gained ten yards to her club yardages by working on her wrist hinge during her lesson. This progress is awesome! ⛳️🏌️♀️
Left side is before the lesson and right side is after. Great progress of limiting early extension! We practiced punch shots to feel covering the ball with our chest at impact. ⛳️🏌️♀️

I am so excited about Jackson’s progress! A great drill to give your students to feel their weight on the inside of their right foot in their backswing is to place a ball on the inside of their right foot. When they turn back have them feel the pressure of the ball going into the ground. ⛳️🏌🏼
