This morning our wonderful Executive Director, Julie Dahlhausen, attended the Community Development Block Grant’s 50th Anniversary Celebration at Saint Michaels.
The Arch at Saint Michael is a $23 million senior living development, located at the historic Saint Michael School on Scranton Road. This project will create 46 affordable apartments for low-income seniors, allowing them to age in place while preserving a significant architectural landmark. The development is a green adaptive reuse of the Gothic Revival-style school and an adjacent convent.
The project, led by CHN Housing Partners with support from Cleveland City Council, is fully funded through a combination of local, state, and federal resources. Construction began in the second quarter of 2024, with completion expected in 2025.
We are truly so proud to have this type of development in the Tremont neightborhood, and hope that we can continue to work towards more affordable housing for all.
