The Port of Cleveland's board has approved $170 million in bond financing to fuel a series of high-impact projects including:
➡️ $93 million in bond financing for the DiGeronimo Companies’ Valor Acres development in Brecksville. This second phase will bring nearly 440,000 sq. ft. of residential, retail, and office space, along with 292 permanent jobs by 2027.
➡️ $50 million for the expansion of Momentive Technologies' quartz production in Richmond Heights. This project, critical to industries ranging from semiconductors to aerospace, will see a significant upgrade with new furnace equipment and a modernized manufacturing process.
➡️ $35 million for renovations to Constellation Schools' buildings in Cleveland and Parma benefiting over 4,400 students and 550 employees across more than 20 schools managed by Constellation Schools LLC.

The project will create 116 affordable apartment units with energy-efficient systems, convenient transportation access, and healing-centered design. Greater Cleveland companies continue their commitment to Clean Tech for business growth. Babcock & Wilcox has announced a $60M investment in a hydrogen production plant in Massillon.
Set to break ground this fall, the facility will use B&W's BrightLoop technology to produce 3-5 tons of hydrogen daily, while having the key advantage of being able to capture nearly all CO2 emissions. Production is expected by 2025.

Cleveland Metroparks has unveiled plans for the Patrick S. Parker Community Sailing Center, a first-of-its-kind facility on Lake Erie. ⛵
Set to open at the E. 55th Street Marina, this $15 million project will be the first community sailing center along Lake Erie and in Ohio, offering unprecedented access to the lake for residents. The facility will include learning spaces, community areas, a boathouse, and a rooftop deck, all designed with accessibility in mind.
Construction is expected to be completed by 2026, with the center providing year-round programs aimed at breaking down economic barriers to sailing. Project partners include the Parker Hannifin Corporation and Madeleine S. Parker, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Supporting Foundation and The Cleveland Foundry.

The GCP was created in March 2004 by the consolidation of Cleveland Tomorrow, the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, the Greater Cleveland Roundtable and their primary affiliates— the Northeast Ohio Technology Coalition (NorTech), COSE and the Commission on Economic Inclusion. Through this merger, the private sector is able to better allocate two of its most precious resources—dollars and committed leadership—toward creating a more vibrant economy in Northeast Ohio—as well as speak with one voice on behalf of job- and wealth-creation priorities locally, in Columbus, and in Washington, D.C.
