The invasive Spotted Lanternfly, these guys decimate trees, grape, hop and stone fruit crops. But their wings are so pretty! If you see one, be sure to report it on the Ohio DNR website, then throw it in a jar and send it my way!

2023 has been a damn fine year. I got married this fall, and I had to preserve the stunning bouquet .rutter made for me. I had enough flowers to make two shadow boxes! I added a lil bb bee, Common Jay, and a beautiful Luna moth my father found. I hope that 2024 brings new growth, clarity and peace for all of us.
