The Department of Roads is developing a Comprehensive Transportation Safety Action Plan, known as Safe Streets for Macomb County. The safety action plan will include a complete review of all roads under Macomb County jurisdiction with the goal of developing a holistic strategy to help reduce the number of incidents and prevent fatalities and serious injuries on Macomb County roadways.

A key component of the safety action plan includes community engagement and public input. As resident of Macomb County, this is your opportunity to share your ideas and to help make our roads as safe as possible.

Your input will help prioritize roadway and infrastructure projects that address transportation safety challenges for Macomb County residents and support the Department of Roads efforts to secure future funding opportunities for safety projects.
