Happy Labor Day, and thank you all for your hard work within the St. Thomas community and worldwide. The church offices will be closed today, Monday, September 2. We will be back Tuesday, September 3, at 9:00 a.m.

Almighty God, you have so linked our lives one with another that all we do affects, for good or ill, all other lives: So guide us in the work we do, that we may do it not for self alone, but for the common good; and, as we seek a proper return for our own labor, make us mindful of the rightful aspirations of other workers, and arouse our concern for those who are out of work; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

New Small Groups

Father Korey will introduce new fellowship small groups on September 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

These small groups will meet four times from September 2024 through May 2025: September 15, December 1, January 19, and May 4. Small group assignments will be announced the week of September 9. The families participating will commit to meeting anytime on those dates.

The small groups will offer opportunities for building relationships outside of our usual worship and formation gatherings. The hope is that people will enjoy gathering simply to enjoy each other's company.

If you are interested in participating, please get in touch with the church office at 979-696-1726. If you are curious but want more information before committing, join Father Korey on September 8 as he explains more about the small groups. You will have an opportunity to sign up then.
