Just spent a week in the AOR serving as senior mentor at a theater space conference hosted by Col Dave Buck. Great work being accomplished by the men and women of AFSPC bringing space and cyber capabilities to the joint fight. Rounded out the visit getting a familiarization tour and was able to see first-hand how we employ space/cyber support downrange across multiple weapon systems. Also participated in a dignified transfer for one of our fallen heroes. Keep up the hard work ... I'm proud of all of you.

Recently visited the Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy and gave an overview of the Air Force to the 6th grade class. Students were full of enthusiasm, motivated and eager to learn; they asked some tough questions and even asked me to sign a few autographs. Also received a tour of the Space Foundation and was impressed with the work they are doing advocating for and advancing the space industry especially in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. We need to do all we can to reach out to young people and get them interested in STEM early. They are the AR and our nation's future.

Attended the inaugural Undergraduate Cyberspace Training graduation at Keesler AFB this week. The 15 graduates are now en route to their units to do great things for the USAF and joint warfighter. This is a historic milestone and I feel privileged to have been part of this event.
