Sensitive Services and Therapeutic Recreation make a great team! Our Palmetto Enrichment Program is excited to run one of their bi-weekly Meals on Wheels routes today so they can connect with and serve our community.

Palmetto Dinner Club meets twice per week year round. It is one of our most popular Therapeutic programs. Adults with special needs learn translatable kitchen skills and socialize with one another while caregivers enjoy an evening respite. Today our Palmetto Enrichment Program beat the heat by making bird feeders for the park, having lunch at the mall food court where each participant could order the meal of their choice and they spent time relaxing and caring for their bodies during our stretch and yoga time. We even had a special visitor from our youth programming visit for a few minutes! PEP is an adaptive , inclusive, enriching and welcoming day program for adults with special needs. Palmetto on the Town had an awesome time at the Fireflies game this weekend! They enjoyed a good delicious stadium dinner , were able to run the bases and left with hats and game balls !
