Congrats to History PhD candidate Michael Limmer and SEC Emerging Scholar Postdoc Carey Kelley, both of whom were recently honored big-time by the Mizzou Graduate School.
Michael won a John D. Bies International Discovery Fellowship as well as a Robert N. Epsten Scholarship in International Studies, and Carey won the Distinguished Dissertation Award (as in, the best dissertation across the entire grad school).
Talk about making us look good! Well done!
We are thrilled to announce that Dennis Trout, was awarded the Andrew Heiskell/Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Rome Prize for his project "Reimagining Rome: Emperors, Popes, and the Cult of the Saints." The Rome Prize was presented in person yesterday during the Janet & Arthur Ross Rome Prize Ceremony and Concert, taking place at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York. Congratulations, Dr. Trout!
