Hi ICPA families,
Just checking in. Our kids have had a great start to the year! We are seeing respect for our cell phone policy and kids stepping up and taking in our uniform policy.
We are bursting at the seams with enrollment and families who want to enroll. We have several kids who have not yet shown up for school. As much as we want to hold a spot, we have to move forward with families who are interested.
Please reach out if you are enrolled and plan to send your student.

We are off and running with our new reading program!! We believe the best gift we can give any student is the gift of an education! It will take them to to the moon and beyond!

Good afternoon ICPA families!
We had an awesome first day but still a first day! With that comes delays in transportation. All buses are running late this afternoon. We have 200 riders this year and taking extra precaution to load them and make sure everyone is where they should be, takes time. It will get smoother but for now anticipate a late arrival at home.

Our buses have rolled out for a new school year! Please be patient as our transportation team navigates new routes and a lot of construction in the area. Please contact our transportation department if you need additional information on your child’s pick-up time. Unlike most charge schools and Columbus City Schools we provide our own transportation! You never have to wonder if your child’s bus will show up or wait on hold for hours to get transportation updates!

We are soooooo excited to see all of our Tigers tomorrow! We have the best kids!!!

What Principals Can Do to Make Sure Students Feel Welcome at School Student anxiety and absenteeism are top of mind for principals as schools reopen.

We are offering 3 different meeting times:
Wednesday, 8.14 from 10am-11am
Thursday, 8.15 from 10:30am-11:30am
Monday, 8.19 from 3pm-5pm (during open house)

With Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio, every child is mailed one age-appropriate book each month until his or her 5th birthday. 61% of eligible kids in Ohio received a free book this June!

We have been overwhelmed with last minute summer school requests and we wish we could accommodate you all but we cannot. We are not accepting anymore summer school students at this time. We DO hope to see you all on June 28 for our Book Party! We will be giving away books, clothes, household items and will have free food, music and a bounce house!

It was Field Day today for our pre-K and K students. Tomorrow is graduation and we look forward to celebrating our amazing little people!

Mrs. Goldings first graders took advantage of the beautiful weather and had their lunch outside!

We had a great week celebrating our awesome teachers! This team is so passionate about our students and all about having fun! We are down to 3 weeks left. Make sure your re-enrollment packet has been turned in as well as summer school enrollment. We are super excited to be adding football, drum line and dance team next year for our students in grades 5-8!

Did you know that we have no-cost after school programs and activities at ICPA? From soccer to gardening, chess club, craft club and tutoring, we have something for everyone. In addition starting this fall we will have a middle school football team, drum line and dance team!
