Poison sumac is a poisonous shrub; native in eastern North America. Contact with poison sumac may result in itchy and painful skin inflammation. Starling was infested with it in the front of our building. Thanks to the kindness, generosity, and admiration of educators, Goldenscapes Landscaping gifted time, labor, and resources to remove our poison ridded bushes before the start of our 24/25 school year. Starling can’t thank you enough for your professional care, and thorough removal of those bushes.

Welcome back Spartan families!!!!!
Please plan to attend our Back to School Bash on Sunday, August 18th from 1-3 pm at Starling. Friendship Baptist Church has generously partnered with us on this event and will provide food, backpacks, barbers, face painting, and various community resources will be on site!

Our school office opens this Thursday at 9 am.

Student enrollment is done at the district’s enrollment center or online at the CCS website. We cannot enroll students at the building. This includes PK students.

School starts on August 21. Be on the lookout for information about our Back to School Bash on August 18.
