State Representative Thomas Hall
This is the official page for State Representative Thomas Hall. Serving the 46th House District!
Hosting Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance for a rally made it a historic day for Middletown. It was exciting to see so many people turn out to see him speak. The energy in and around our district has been exciting and contagious in the days leading up to this event. His mom was so gracious with her time in talking and taking pictures with everyone.
JD has remained true to his Middletown roots, making our community one of his first of many stops this campaign season!
Special thank you to the Middletown Division of Police, Middletown Firefighters Local 336, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and all the emergency personnel who provided security and assistance for the event!
Excited for Middletown’s own Senator JD Vance on being selected as President Donald Trump’s running mate in the upcoming election! 🇺🇸
It was a bittersweet 4th of July Parade in Middletown yesterday. My Dad and I rode on top of the same truck I grew up riding in. At the end of this year, it will be replaced with a new engine.
This truck has been in service for our community since 1998 and has been a vital asset to many calls and moments in our community’s history.
I hope you are all able to enjoy this holiday weekend with your family and friends, stay safe!
It’s a historic day for our district with the passage of the capital budget!

I posted a picture of the vote on this legislation (House Bill 2). You will notice that my name is NOT highlighted GREEN (for yes vote) or RED (for no vote) as I abstained from voting due to my employment with the Madison Fire Department.
I am grateful for the passage of this bill and investments that will be made in our district!
Governor DeWine called a special session this week to address two issues: 1) Ban foreign money on our ballot initiatives (House Bill 1), and 2) Ensure Joe Biden will be on the ballot for the November election (House Bill 2).
During the last two House sessions, I joined many of my Republican colleagues in voting to NOT adjourn so we could address these issues. Both attempts failed and, as a result, Governor DeWine called us into a special session.
Today, I proudly voted YES for HB 1, which places a ban on foreign money in our state ballot initiatives.
Additionally, I voted NO on HB 2. While I respect the views of many of my Republican colleagues, the Democratic National Committee and Ohio Democrats have bragged about addressing the issue, and I seen no reason to help Joe Biden here in Ohio.
On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms of this great nation.
This morning, I walked in the Middletown Memorial Day Parade and attended their ceremony at Woodside Cemetary. It was great to see Senator JD Vance, Congressman Warren Davidson, local officials, and friends throughout the parade route and at the ceremony!

It has been a very busy two months after the primary election!
I’m committed to passing legislation that makes our district and state better. Drafting and working on policy is one of my favorite parts of the job. Over the past two months, I’ve had 4 bills continue to move through the legislative process after several hearings on each bill.
I relentlessly work to make sure my bills are the best they can be by holding interested party meetings with various stakeholders and working the committees the various bills are assigned to.
I’m thankful to have the opportunity to work on policy and have the support of my colleagues who believe in my vision and legislative ideas!
We have a collective responsibility to protect those who protect us. I’m excited that my bill, House Bill 265, passed the Ohio House with unanimous support in session yesterday!
I will continue to fight and advocate for first responders in Columbus. See our press release attached.
Ohio House Passes Bill to Protect First Responders COLUMBUS-The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 265, legislation to exempt certain sensitive information about first responders from disclosure under public records law, announced bill sponsor, State Rep. Thomas Hall (R- Madison Twp.).
Late last week, I was excited to attend and present a commendation to Fry Steel Company at their grand opening and ribbon cutting in Middletown.
Fry Steel Company is based out of California and when it came time to expand, they chose Ohio, and more specifically, Middletown!
I am grateful for the work we have done in the Ohio House to make Ohio a place where businesses flourish. I look forward to welcoming more companies to our district and great state!

I first want to thank God for the strength, wisdom, and guidance through yet another election. Thank you to my volunteers who braved the cold yesterday to help bring home positive results. To my family, friends, and the voters, THANK YOU for your endless support!!Now- on to November🇺🇸
Also, one part of campaigning that doesn’t get highlighted as much is the hard work that goes into signs. I am grateful to have people help put signs up and take signs down. Since last night, our team has gotten most of them down, but if we missed one please let us know!
Tomorrow marks Election Day! Polls will be open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. I humbly ask for your support to continue serving you in Columbus. Together, we've achieved remarkable milestones this re-election cycle:

- Over 515 signs distributed to supporters across our district
- Participated in over 50 meetings and events, directly engaging with our community

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the hard work and dedication that has brought us to this point. As tomorrow quickly approaches, I ask not only for your vote, but also for your prayers. With your continued support, I am excited to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. Thank you for believing in our vision. Let’s go win this!

We are blessed at the Federal level with two of the very best leaders. I am honored to be ENDORSED by both of them for my re election as your State Representative.
Thank you to Senator JD Vance and Congressman Warren Davidson for the support!
2 weeks til Election Day!
***As a reminder, you MUST present a valid photo ID to vote in Ohio.****
Why?
Because in 2022, I fought for election integrity and security by passing House Bill 458.
This election overhaul bill placed Ohio on the map for its election laws and required voters to present a valid photo ID. The liberal left tried to sue this law change and ultimately a federal court sided with me by throwing out their lawsuit. See attached article.

As March begins tomorrow, I wanted take a moment to reflect on the progress we have made in our re election efforts throughout the month of February!
I personally knocked on 1,770 doors all across the 46th House District. Our team collectively knocked on 3,124 doors!
My team and I also put up 423 signs, both large and small.
A huge thank you to my team of volunteers for a successful month of campaigning. Also, a huge thank you to everyone who opened their doors to our team and allowed me to put signs on their property.
Bring on March!!
4 pictures for 4 recent highlights!
I love seeing new businesses come to the district! A big, warm welcome to 1) Coffee by Inferno in the City of Monroe and 2) Torchy’s Tacos in Liberty Township.
3) I attended a ribbon cutting at Berachah Church for their new Compassion City Center in Middletown. There is no doubt this center will have a widespread impact on so many people and organizations.
4) It was great to celebrate the end of a historic coaching career for Brian McGuire at Madison. A phenomenal coach and an even better leader in Madison Township!
Recognizing milestones and presenting commendations is one of my favorite parts about being State Representative.
(West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance, City of Monroe, Ohio, Liberty Center, Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio)
My commitment to passing meaningful legislation has not changed since taking office. So far this General Assembly, I have been able to get 6 pieces of legislation passed, 3 of which are now law.
I recently found out that I was the top representative in getting legislation passed out of the Ohio House. While I am honored, the work is far from over!
I have passed bills to reform property tax, increase the homestead exemption, update State IT systems to improve use of services and save taxpayer money, and ensure Ohio has a top tier stroke registry for better care.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I want to thank Pastor Fred Hurst and Christ Church United Methodist in Middletown for having me this past Saturday at their first annual Valentine’s Night Out! It was great to fellowship with everyone and hear from comedian Jeff Jena!
This past week in Columbus was one of the busiest weeks I’ve ever had. I voted yes on the Strategic Initiative Fund, part 1 of the capital budget, that will bring $1.4 million to our district (for 3 projects in Madison Township, Liberty Township, and Monroe) and over $6 million to Butler County!
Besides voting on the historic funding, my two days included:
-Chaired Technology and Innovation Committee
-Had 6 different hearings on 6 of my very own pieces of legislation
-Attended 3 committee meetings
-Stopped by the Ohio Township Assoc reception and met with Butler County officials
-Held a press conference on my new HB 384
Governor DeWine’s veto of HB 68 has been OVERRIDDEN by the Ohio House!
The next step is for the Ohio Senate to do the same before HB 68 officially becomes law here in Ohio. Thank you to all the constituents from my district who reached out to my office on this important issue.
On this Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we say THANK YOU to those who keep us safe on a daily basis!
A tradition unlike any other, getting to help es**rt Santa through our small town community on Christmas Eve with our local Madison Township Fire Department.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Tuesday was a special night in Middletown. I was invited to speak during a celebration in honor of Maggie Alvarez becoming a United States citizen.
After getting to hear from others and his wife Jan, I was able to see what a blessing Maggie is to not only his church, but his entire community and mankind. From growing up teaching himself how to speak, read, and write English, to now officially becoming a United States citizen, it was an emotional moment for all in attendance.
A huge thank you to Mark Worley, Stephanie Garrett, and Springhill Church for having me, and to Maggie, who said “you are my friend” to me as I was leaving. Thank you for the opportunity to share a few words, laughs, and fellowship.
