Gong Xi Fa Cai! Gong Hei Fat Choy! Happy Lunar New Year! 2023 is the year of the Water Rabbit. The rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity. The element of water means to trust our inner wisdom and instincts. Our temple kicked off this auspicious of years with a midnight celebration followed by a noon luncheon today. A special thanks to everyone that volunteered food and time!! We look forward to seeing all of you back at our various festivities and popup markets this year! 🐰🎉🧧

It could be said that this year Ching Ter Temple started Chinese New Year with a dance and ended it in love. On February 2nd the Year of Metal Rat was rung in with by our lion dance team’s annual performance followed by a buffet and raffle. A special thanks to our sponsors Loving Hut Columbus Ohio and Booda Organics for providing prizes for the raffle!!! On February 9th we hosted our Valentine Sweets popup market and it was the best yet. We had quite a variety of food trucks, vendors, music, and activities for the kids. If you missed the event, don’t worry, it will be returning on April 5th for our Spring popup market. A special thanks to all our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, dancers, artists, and everyone that helps make these events a success. We can’t wait to see you all in April!!
