Five14 Church
We are the light
God is a worker. He worked when He created the world and created us. And He works now. When we walk and work by the spirit we engage in Gods covenant to bless the whole world. Use your work to worship God and image Him into this world!
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are ready to be baptized. Your baptism is a key opportunity to show others that you have accepted Christ and have a relationship with him.
It symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation.
Baptism says:
You’ve accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
You were washed clean and your sins were forgiven by Jesus’ death on the cross.
You share in His death and resurrection, illustrated by going under the water (dead to your old life), then rising again (into new life).
Because Jesus instructed us to be baptized, baptism is an act of obedience. While it is not necessary for salvation, baptism demonstrates our submission to God. We immerse at Five14 Church because we believe Scripture shows that Jesus modeled that for us as the way to publicly acknowledge our faith in Him.
NEXT STEPS:

We started a new series today called The Ox! In this series Joel is teaching us that God is a worker therefore work is not just a good thing, it’s a God thing. And that working may be the very thing that makes us the most like God! Make sure you’re here next week to learn about how we can orient the work we are doing so that we become more like the people God designed us to be!
Worship Night was indescribable wasn’t it?! Being intimate and vulnerable with God, letting go of whatever is holding us back, to just sit in the presence of our Lord. Truly surreal how present God was in that room. What was your favorite part of Worship Night??
Join us tomorrow, Feb 21st at 7pm for a night of worshiping our Lord!
Song and worship is one of the divine weapons we use to break down the strongholds the devil and his hosts use against us and we believe that when we sing the truths of God out loud the gates of hell are pushed back. Use your voice with us this night to declare victory over sin and death!
Childcare is provided. Invite your friends and family! All are welcome!
Hallelujah means ‘Praise The Lord’
This Sundays message and the Sunday before were about giving praise to our Lord!
The ways that we can bring praise to Him is in our song and worship, and in our prayers. He says that He draws near to those that draw near to Him. It is in these ways that we enter the throne room and declare Him our Lord. To have a relationship with Him. To spend time with Him.
If you’re feeling distant from God or just simply want to hear from Him, start a regular rhythm of song and prayer. Give you and Him space together, and He will draw near to you 🤍

Teach Us to Pray is a four week prayer class taught by John McCambridge!
Using the Lord’s Prayer as a guide, this class will be part learning and part interactive practice. Many Christians want to pray and know the importance of prayer, but have never really been taught how. Jesus’ disciples requested of him, “Teach us to pray.” And he responded, “Pray like this...”
Learning from Jesus, The goal of the class is to learn how to pray like never before!
The class will be each Monday in February (2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26) at 7pm. We will have childcare available!

In the hallowed halls of faith, we remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., not just as a leader, but as a humble servant of the Lord. His life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity. He walked in the light of God, spreading a message of hope, equality, and justice. Through his inspiring actions and profound words, he showed us that true greatness lies in serving others and standing firm in one’s beliefs. His legacy is a beacon of divine guidance, reminding us that with faith, humility, and courage, we can overcome any obstacle and create a world of peace and brotherhood.
We are in Part 2 of Humble Beginnings, Middles, & Ends!
Joel is leading us through what God says about humility and the importance of ordering our lives in the way God has designed us to live.
If you aren’t caught up you can watch at five14church.com, on our app, or on YouTube.

Matthew 6: 9-13
The Lord’s Prayer
If you are new in your prayer life or have been deep in prayer for many years, The Lord’s Prayer is worth reflecting on and speaking out loud.
Jesus gave us the perfect example of how we can simply and intimately come before God and ask Him to intercede in our life.
Communion Sunday
The Holy Communion is an important way to understand and continue to acknowledge Christ's act of selfless sacrifice.
When we take part in communion we are acknowledging that the crucifixion did take place and that Christ did indeed die for the forgiveness of our sins, so that we can be with The Father only because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
The bread representing Jesus’ broken body. The wine representing Jesus’ spilled blood. The sacrificial lamb of God.

Luke 22:19-20
…“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”…“This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”

We have been given so much that it should be easy for us to always be thankful.
But sometimes it’s not. Sometimes we lose sight of how gracious our God is. We experience sorrow, and loss, and difficult times.
We forget that God’s plan is in motion. A plan to restore and rewrite. To make new. To bring Heaven to Earth. A plan that involves us. God invites us into His plan to bring about the goodness of God here and now.
And for that we should be thankful.
