Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio

The Fraternal Order of Police is the Ohio’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 23,500 members in more than 180 lodges.

We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today's police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.

Ohio's law enforcement officers are the best there is, here is more proof!

These kinds of stories are so rare in the news but happen more than you may realize. You may have noticed or heard that there was some traffic on Airport Highway around 4:30 P.M. today, causing a little delay. No need to worry! Deputy Bunker and Deputy Mylek were just getting into the nuts and bolts of police work! They acted as a great pit crew for a fortunate motorist in Springfield Township, Lucas County, Ohio. A big thank you to both of them for going the extra mile for this driver and his wife! A special shout-out to Erin Z. for sharing this photo and story! Keep the stories and pics coming! Capt. BC

The FOP of Ohio will vigorously oppose any proposal to eliminate the pension systems our members call home. The best way to reform or improve the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund is to increase the employer contribution for police officers, to match the contribution of firefighters.
