An estimated 5 million, or 1 in 10, older Americans experience elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Working together across our networks, we can generate awareness and foster action to end elder abuse. Let’s work to keep everyone safe as we age. http://eldermistreatment.usc.edu/weaad-home
Today, we at o4a honor Juneteenth – a day that reflects our nation’s constant journey toward equality and justice for all.
As we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States, we also celebrate the contributions and resilience of the African American community throughout history.
Let’s use this day to learn from the past, inspire change for the future, and continue to build an inclusive society.
Join us in reflecting on this significant moment in history and in recognizing the ongoing efforts toward freedom and equality.
🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈
This June, we at o4a are proud to celebrate the vibrant diversity and enduring spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. We stand especially with our older LGBTQ+ Ohioans, who have paved the way for progress and equality.
Their courage and stories inspire us every day, and we are committed to ensuring that our services and support are inclusive and affirming for all.
Let’s honor their legacy by continuing the fight for a world where everyone can live with pride. 🏳️🌈
Worldwide, more than 55 million people are living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Take action now — for yourself, your loved ones and for the fight to end Alzheimer's.
