April 2024 updates Open Church is a new network of microchurches in Columbus, Ohio, making the kingdom of God tangible on earth through worship of the Trinity, intentional relationships with people, and missional vision for the city.

Addiction Academy is an educational conference offering quality training in the area of substance use disorder and innovative treatment. We offer a unique view into the lives of those dealing with addiction and the professionals working alongside them. The event provides an opportunity to learn from organizations, specialists, and individuals who are walking through their recovery journey, sharing their innovative expertise to promote effective recovery programming.

Open Church worships on Sunday mornings at 10:30am at Pastor Allyssa's house in Franklinton (Downtown Columbus). Coffee and light breakfast available. All are welcome 🏳️‍🌈

We'd love for you to join as we begin this new worship series: thy kingdom come. As we pray "thy kingdom come on earth" what does that mean? What should we be looking for or how should we be participating?

For the next several weeks, we'll be looking at the Parables of Jesus that show us what the Kingdom of God is like: the seed sown on good ground, a lamp on a stand, a mustard seed, like treasure hidden in a field or a pearl of great price, and a net that catches all kinds of fish.

Tonight, we are celebrating around 12 baptisms at The Hope Gathering, a partner ministry on the Westside of Columbus. Would you join us in praying for the individuals as they take this step along their journey with Christ?

"In God's grace however, Jesus knew that there would be "people of peace" in every town. Today was our worship leader Ryan’s last Sunday with us on a weekly basis. (We plan to still bring him back for larger gatherings and special events.) we will miss his presence, his faithfulness, and his beautiful gift of music. Excited for this next season of his family’s journey.

Pastor Allyssa is a United Methodist provisional Elder. She lives in Franklinton on the Westside of Columbus, with her husband Joe Graves and son, Finn. She began her church planting journey (with Joe) in 2016-2017 as they planted Central City Church, now Cityview Church.

Allyssa is passionate about people, justice, and God's love and grace. Open Church is starting out of those 3 things. We pray that Open Church can create spaces for people to know and experience God's love and grace in a variety of ways, and as a community, we can be a part of justice in Columbus for everyone.

Happy Valentine's Day!

ROOTED Bible Study happens on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. We are learning how to read the bible, reading the bible to learn how to follow Jesus closer, and using this time to hear what God has for us through scripture.

Bibles and coffee are provided. Stay after for a light breakfast and worship at 10:30am.

Open Church is a new United Methodist network of microchurches, communities engaged in worship, relationships, and mission in Columbus, Ohio, launching in October 2024.

We are a judgment-free, authentic community of churches committed to LGBTQ inclusion, racial reconciliation, and creating a safe place for all people to bring their doubts, their questions, and their hopes.

Our prayer is to build 5 microchurches by October 2024, celebrating and sending leaders who are called to bring the kingdom of God through spiritual and social transformation to our city through a variety of ways of worshiping, building community, and loving people.
