Wednesday, September 11th we are welcoming back Cris Dehlavi for a cocktail dinner. Cris is currently a regional brand educator for Diageo and will be here to share some of her favorite spirits with us. She and Abbye have crafted some amazing drinks featuring some late summer and early fall flavors. These cocktails lean heavily on herbs and spices that complement the local produce in full harvest this time of year. Chef Ryan has paired each drink with a wonderful seasonal dish.
The cost of this dinner is $85 + tax and tip.

So you want to own a restaurant?
This is a question that has been posed to us a million times. Usually when things are going up in flames all around us. The hoods threw a belt, better get up on the roof and change it! The point of sales crashed in the middle of the rush on a Saturday night, figure it out! Your best cook is sick/in jail/detained, oh and by the way he is the dishwashers ride... Whelp better make it happen!
Even after all of the headaches and heartaches you could or even couldn’t imagine the answer to that initial question is a resounding yes. It is realistic to say that nearly everyone that entertains the thought of life in a professional kitchen believes the endgame is having a place of their own. Jacob and I have been talking about this for years. Having worked together for the last almost ten years we have had a lot of time to discuss what our ideal situation would be. Over the years we realized that the vision we each had was very similar.
At Alqueria we want to share with our guests our idea of hospitality. We both envision a place that feels like home. We want our guests to feel welcome and well taken care of. Coming from Barcelona we know the value of professional yet personal service and want everyone to feel special. Whether here for a special occasion, here for a life milestone or because it’s just Tuesday and you are hungry we want to give you a great experience.
