We exist to connect individuals and families in crisis to the physical, financial, social, and spiritual resources needed to alleviate the immediate crisis, as well as partnering with clients and the community to create long-term plans for stability.
Volunteer Spotlight!!
Bill and Pam Berry have been serving in many capacities during their time as volunteers, including direct client interaction and behind-the-scenes preparation that takes place daily.
Their love of our program is obvious, and especially in the way that they love our staff and the clients we have the honor of serving.
Because of the support of people like Bill and Pam and the many other volunteers that show up every day, we are able to make a positive impact for our Conway community and those we are called to love.
We’re so thankful for the generosity of our community helping us provide for our homeless friends. Specific needs can vary at times, but some things are always needed. Here is a list of our biggest needs right now!

A HUGE thank you to the Conway Public Schools for their generous 500 meal donation! Did you know that since June 1, we have fed 1,754 people with a daily meal, many of them children like the one pictured here. This gift impacts some of our most vulnerable citizens, and we are thankful for the love and support that our schools give for kids in need!
Big shoutout to Steve and Cheryl Daniels for helping us get this donation!
Misconceptions about homelessness are common - read this powerful blog by Sarah Wilson where she unpacks a personal story of a homeless friend in our community seeking help while defying all common misconceptions about homelessness.

Volunteer spotlight!!! If you haven't met Jim, he's been an outstanding volunteer and a huge blessing to The Conway Ministry Center. Jim began serving those in need with us around 5 months ago and serves in a number of ways. Whether he's helping us organize in the mornings to prepare for the serve, portioning out meals for the Hub, or helping clients shop for their groceries, Jim keeps a humble and graceful heart. We're lucky to have you, Jim!
Hey friends! With all the heat we've had this summer, we've given out water bottles to those in need at a fast pace! If you're interested in donating cases of water bottles for homeless friends in our community, you can swing by our office Monday-Thursday from 9am-4pm, or if you'd like to chip in financially as we purchase water and other necessities, you can visit https://www.conwayministrycenter.org/donate
We appreciate your support!
The Conway Ministry Center wouldn't be where it is today without our volunteers! Whether its handing out a meal to a friend in need, helping a client shop for groceries in our storehouse, or simply offering prayer, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. We love our volunteers!
Do you have an unused backpack laying around? Or do you feel led to grab an extra during back to school shopping?
Full sized backpacks are a huge asset for our homeless friends and neighbors, and we're in need of them! If you'd like to donate a backpack (full sized only please), swing by the Conway Ministry Center anytime Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm!

Volunteer spotlight! Cleve is a volunteer who has stayed with us through many transitions. He has served at multiple properties and even more modes of service. He served in the first versions of the client-choice pantry, through Covid-19 drive-through adaptations, and now through opening up the Storehouse food pantry multiple days a week! He loves his community and our team deeply. We are so grateful to have served alongside him and so many others through more program changes than we could count!
Thank you to the VBS kiddos over at Greenbrier Nazarene Church for putting together these cool DIY soda cake boxes! What a fun and creative way to serve their homeless neighbors in their community.
Thank you to the little ones of Four Winds Church for this amazing food donation today! It’s precious to see young hearts loving their neighbor.
If the heat hasn't already told you, Summer is here! These are a few items we need more of this time of year. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we do not currently need many clothing items other than athletic shorts!

Volunteer Spotlight! Jeannie is a long-time volunteer here. She has been a part of leadership teams, program planning, and so much more. She serves in many different capacities from the homeless services window, to behind-the-scenes work, to rallying support in the community. We are so grateful for her and ALL of the volunteers who have been serving in so many capacities!
Do you have cubicle walls to donate? The CMC needs them!
Our programs are open as normal today, June 19th 2024. We are celebrating the fight for freedom for all! We honor those who have fought for their freedom and recognize that so many in the our community are still facing the effects of inequality. Today, we want to celebrate Juneteenth by continuing to love and serve the community around us.
We would like to introduce you to our new Shelter Director, Jarett Wilson! Jarett is no stranger to the Conway Ministry Center. He has been faithfully volunteering, praying, and supporting from the sidelines for many years. He has a great deal of experience working with Conway's homeless population, families, and youth. He is also an Ordained Deacon in the Church of the Nazarene. As we embark on this new shelter venture, we couldn't be happier to have Jarett joining our team!
Volunteer Spotlight! Have you met our sweet friend, Faith? She's a young woman dedicated to serving her community with a smile! From the most grueling food-processing and cleaning tasks, to taking the time to pick out matching outfits for a homeless friend, to using her balloon animal skills to bring a smile to kids faces... she is always happy to do whatever she can to help.
We are so blessed to have so many unique and incredible volunteers that pour their heart into this ministry! Stay tuned to meet more of our amazing volunteers.
After a brief pause for students to finish out the semester, the medical clinic is back up and running! Storehouse Pantry clients will have access most Mondays and Thursdays this summer to basic health screenings during the program from 12:30 to 3. We are so grateful to get to continue to provide access to healthcare to our most vulnerable friends and neighbors.
We see God's provision in little everyday things. Shoe shelves that were bare just weeks ago, now overflowing. Produce fridges that were empty, suddenly stocked with veggies just picked from the garden. Light bills that a neighbor couldn't pay, now taken care of with the collaboration of our community partners.
Summer can be a sparse time for many of the resources that our friends and neighbors so desperately need. We are reminded today and every day that we have a Heavenly Father who knows that we need all these things.
Thank YOU for being a part of God's provision to this community! To stay up to date on our current needs, visit our website!

Helping the Hurting in Central Arkansas since 2014.
From the very beginning, the Conway Ministry Center set out to be a meeting place. A place where families in crisis meet with staff and volunteers who care for them and desire to help.
We offer one-on-one case management, rent and utility assistance along with a weekly client-choice, food pantry.
Last year we served over 4,000+ households through the Storehouse and 475+ families in Case Management.
