Everyone, meet School Resource Officer (SRO) Charlene Smith! SRO Smith has been with the police department for 12 years and is currently assigned to the high school. She enjoys coming to work and talking with the students every day. She is seen as a “Mama Bear” at the high school because of her sweet demeanor and how well she interacts with the students every day.
When not at work, SRO Smith enjoys reading books and listening to audiobooks. She also enjoys doing gardening/yard work. A fun fact about her is she loves archery! If you see SRO Smith walking the halls of the high school say hello!
