It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Tiffany Hennebelle the beloved wife of Andy. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Andy and their family during this difficult time.

In remembrance and celebration of Tiffany’s life, we will be holding a candlelight vigil followed by a 30-minute DUT and a moment of reflection and celebration of her life.

We will meet on the turf at 1pm.

While we understand that not everyone may be able to attend, we hope that those who can, will join us in showing support for our colleague and honoring the memory of Tiffany. Your presence and support during this time will mean a great deal to everyone.

Please be on the lookout for some additional information coming soon about a company-wide event and fundraiser that we will be doing on Saturday June 22nd.

From moving to California in 2018 and battling mental health challenges after serving in the Army, Nelson Glass’s journey is a testament to resilience and determination. He overcame homelessness, lost 80 pounds through dedicated workouts, and found solace at UFC GYM, which “gave me a family that I didn’t have and community.”

Starting as a Membership Specialist at UFC GYM Huntington Beach in December 2021 and advancing to Assistant General Manager in Brea by March 2023, Nelson’s commitment to personal and professional growth was evident.

In September 2023, faced with family struggles and mental health concerns back on the East Coast, Nelson made a heartfelt decision to be closer to his loved ones. He reached out to his regional manager for a transfer, and with the unwavering support, Nelson swiftly moved to New York in October 2023.

Now, as the General Manager at UFC GYM Long Island, Nelson continues to inspire others. His mom trains with us, and his nephew also works out at the gym, embodying the sense of family and community that UFC GYM stands for.
Nelson’s story is a powerful reminder that at UFC GYM, we are more than just a gym—we are a family. 🏋️‍♂️❤️

What is Grounding?
Grounding, also known as earthing, is the practice of placing one's bare feet on the ground, whether it be dirt, grass, sand, or concrete, to directly connect with the Earth's surface. The Earth has a mild negative charge, and by making direct contact with it, people can absorb electrons which may have a range of health benefits. The practice is believed to neutralize free radicals, reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and promote a general sense of well-being. So, "grounding" in this context means reconnecting with the Earth, quite literally, by putting your feet in direct contact with the ground.
