Happy New Year!

Wow! Going into 2024 with a bang!!

I am blown away at God’s faithfulness and the generosity of our community. At the beginning of November, our committee was made aware that we had a few generous donors. These donors would match any gift that came in from the middle of November through the end of December up to $15,000. This year end campaign accounts for 15% of our annual budget. We prayed, invited and asked as The Lord led us and as of December 31st we all have raised $32,730.

THANK YOU. Your generosity will help train, equip and send leaders into the lives of Corvallis students and show them the gospel in their actions and words!
This week, we are launching into our first events of 2024. We get to enter in knowing that we are surrounded by a community of men and women who wholeheartedly want this next generation to know who Jesus truly is.

Hello Friends and Family! This fifth week of Going Together, we’d like to share a story from Triton about his friend Josh…

“I have a close friend named Josh who I’ve known since my freshman year of high school. Josh was actually one of the first people to invite me to Young Life. We both went to camp together in high school, graduated together, and saw God work in each other's lives. Once we got out of high school, I continued to attend Young Life events but he backed off. We weren't connecting on a spiritual level anymore, either. By the grace of God, I was able to convince him to do summer staff with me after our first year of college. And God moved! It drastically changed both of us. Since then we have done another session of summer staff, fundraised for Young Life, and talked about how God is working in each of our lives. We both thank God for the opportunities we have had and the community surrounding us. Below is a picture of me and Josh serving high school campers at Malibu club in Canada.”

At one point or another, we've all felt like Josh — hesitant in a new environment. We show up in kids' lives to remind them they are never alone; the God of the universe is with them, He knows them and loves them.

Many more kids need this love and that is why we're raising $15k which will be doubled this year. With your support, we can reach more schools, start more clubs and share the message of Jesus.

Casey Foundation, anxiety and depression rates among kids aged 3 to 17 have skyrocketed, with a 26% increase from 2016 to 2020? That's nearly two million more kids facing this challenging battle.

We're committed to reaching these kids right where they are — whether at sporting events or in cafeterias — building trusted friendships and sharing the message of God's unwavering love and desire for a relationship with them. With the support of caring adults like you, we can make an incredible difference in a kid's life — providing stability, consistency and the unconditional love of Jesus, who promises to never leave us.

Hello Friends and Family! It is week 2 of our year-end giving campaign, Going Together and ! Today we are highlighting Esther, a Corvallis High School grad who is now a freshman at Oregon State University. Esther was able to attend summer camp this year with our high school group at Washington Family Ranch following graduation and has now gotten connected with our college ministry! What is Esther’s favorite part about YL? “People I have met. Everyone I met– leaders, friends, and peers– have been such amazing people. Their love for Christ and the community is truly the best part.”
