In 1986, archaeologists discovered the Bronze Heavenly Tree at the Sanxingdui relic site in Chengdu city.

This majestic ancient artifact closely resembles the three Holy Trees described in The Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Could this mean that this ancient text holds more truths about our prehistorical past than we originally thought?

Even now, its magical depiction still inspires pop culture worldwide.

You might recognize these mystical beings in Marvel's Shang Chi or witness how it influenced the Korean film “Decision to Leave,” directed by Park Chan-wook.
