Trust lands cannot be leased or sold WITHOUT going through Central California Agency.

Without a LEGAL lease, no occupancy or prescribed cannabis-growing shall occur.

Even if YOUR NAME is on a deed, without a LEGAL LEASE from CCA, Federal charges of TRESPASSING will occur.

If you would like to find out 'how many other co-landowners' own interest in the same land tracts that you have, call the Trust Beneficiary Call Center at 888-678-6836 and request a T.S.R.

Federal Regulations require that in order to utilize your interests in a land tract, you must have at least 50% consent from the other co-landowners.

Call the Trust Beneficiary Call Center at (888) 678-6836 and indicate you are a willing seller. As resources allow, the Buy-Back Program may send offers to landowners who are interested in selling their interests after the Program's offer response deadline for a particular location provided there is a current appraisal and funds are available.

The U.S. Department of Interior today announced that this quarter's transfer of nearly $500,000 to the Cobell Education Scholarship Fund brings the total amount contributed so far close to $40 Million. The Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance through scholarships to American Indians and Alaska Naive students wishing to pursue post-secondary and graduate education and training.

Thus far, approximately $2.2 million has been awarded in graduate and undergraduate scholarships to highly qualified American Indian students. Based on data gathered by Indigenous Education, the most recent recipients - or Cobell scholars - include 404 undergraduate students and 64 graduate students; representing 89 federally-recognized tribes.

When the BIA was attempting to roll-over the TAAMS system into a new system, a glitch occurred. Unfortunately, this has affected those purchase offer packets that have been notarized and returned to Cobell for processing. Hopefully the BIA will rectify the problem soon. For landowners looking for land tract locations, check out the Natural Resources Department and Tribal Real Estate Department. They both have maps of the Reservation with the land tract numbers on it.

There are LESS than 10 landowners on the Round Valley Indian Reservation who own their land tract all by themselves = 1/1; known as one-over-one.

ALL other lands are either FRACTIONAL lands (co-owned by several landowners) or owned by the Tribe.

In order to use fractionated land tracts (even if your name is listed on the deed), you MUST have permission from 50%-90% of the other listed co-owners. You can request the list of co-owners (T.S.R.) to your land tracts by contacting the Central California Agency (C.C.A.), BIA-Realty, Ms. Michelle Jefferson (916) 930-3754 or [email protected]

WITHOUT a legal lease (permission from co-owners), YOU ARE TRESPASSING and may be CITED and EVICTED for occupying without a lease, including fines and penalties.

There are numerous co-landowners who are actively lodging complaints with C.C.A., B.I.A.-Realty about trespassers on their fractionated land tracts. This law can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations.

If you own fractional land interests on a reservation and missed the 45-day deadline to accept your offer, you may:

1) Return your offer (including a signed, notarized deed) even though it is past the deadline. This late submission will be reviewed based on capacity, appraisal expiration, and the availability of funds. Cobell cannot guarantee acceptance of late submissions.

2) Call the Trust Beneficiary Call Center at (888) 678-6836 and indicate you are a Willing Seller. As resources allow, the Cobell Buy-Back Program may send offers to landowners who are interested in selling their interests after the Program’s offer response deadline for a particular location provided there is a current appraisal and funds are available.

If you own Round Valley land interests and did not receive a purchase offer from the Cobell program, and you wish to sell those land interests, please call the Trust Beneficiary Call Center to register as a "willing seller". 888-678-6836
