"When I learned that my first novel was going to be published, I really wanted to find a way to honor two of the people who were directly responsible for igniting my passion for writing and storytelling: my former English teachers, Jane Reed and Connie Moore. I wanted to establish a scholarship in their names, and knew that the best way to do this was by partnering with the Crawford County Foundation. This is an incredible resource for the community in which I was raised, and the team helped me every step of the way, from finding the appropriate fund to helping make the announcement of the Reed Moore Scholarship to this incredible hometown of mine. Iβm as excited about the scholarship as I am the book!"
