Congratulations to NTX referee Habeeb Hooshmand for being named Referee of the Season for the National Premier Soccer League South Region!

ICYMI: On July 20, 2024, NTX Soccer sponsored the largest ever referee event in program history, Whistlemania 2, which featured 700+ referees of all levels, referee mentors/coaches, and assignors!

Congratulations again to NTX’s Muhammad Kaleia for being recognized as Most Outstanding Referee of the tournament at the 2024 USYS National Championships in Orlando, FL!🥇

The NTX Referee Program is delighted to recognize each of the following officials for their outstanding achievements at this year’s USYS National Championships in Orlando, FL (July 23-28). From the NTX delegation, four of our officials received national semi-final/final assignments, and Muhammad Kaleia was also recognized as Most Outstanding Referee of the tournament.

⛈️ The weather may not have have cooperated
Sunday, but thank you to all of the NTX officials and referee coaches that came out on Mother’s Day - and over the the course of the past week - to make this year’s State Cup a success! 👏

The North Texas Referee Family is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Joel McKell.

Over the years, Joel served the game as a national assistant referee, referee coach, and NWSL AVAR. But most importantly, those who knew Joel will remember him as an outstanding friend and mentor to many in our program. Our sincerest condolences go to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Introducing NTX’s newest cohort of referee mentors! Led by referee coaches Trent McColly and Theo Freeman, these individuals completed all of the required coursework over the weekend to obtain their referee mentor license.

The NTX Referee Program would like to congratulate all of the new and returning national officials in 2024! We celebrate each of these individuals for their hard work and accomplishments in obtaining their national badge.

Congratulations to our very own Jennifer Jones Garner and Tiffini Turpin for being assigned to the NWSL Championship this Saturday! Awesome job ladies 👏

On Saturday, Garner (AR1), Koroleva (REF) and Turpin (RAR) team up again for the between OL Reign and Gotham FC in San Diego.�

NTX Referees Lorenzo Hernandez and Geovany Martinez were recently featured on the US Soccer Newsletter for their assignments to the NPSL National Final. Congratulations on the assignment Lorenzo and Geovany!

Our referees were all smiles over the weekend working E64 games at Moneygram!

As another successful events season draws to a close, we want to recognize our NTX delegation for their hard work and dedication this year at USYS Nationals in Orlando, and a special shoutout goes to Reyes, Muhammad, and Habeeb being selected for semi-final and final assignments based on their performances! 👏

Whistlemania 2023 was a HUGE success! Thank you to all of the referee coaches/mentors, assignors, and over 450 referees for making this special event possible!
