From the stage to the streets, In support of the Gaza 5k, we will have our very own kufiya comedy community members running this Saturday!
Thank you and her husband hany motaleb for bringing awareness to the Palestinian culture and resistance through art. We love you and support you and if you can’t come out and support them in person, please try to donate anything you can. We still have time to help them reach their goal.

This past weekend we got the privilege of performing at the , and it was truly a treat. We had the honor of adding to the beautifully diverse tapestry of Asian stories by having comedians (Palestinian) and (Indian). We can’t wait till next year!

We are back with our first monthly show after our festival with another fantastic line-up. We look forward to sharing both local and international comedians with you all this year starting with this month’s headliner, Aliya Kanani!

ALIYA KANANI is a Toronto-based comedian, Canadian academy award-nominated actress, writer, producer, entertainer, and vagabond, known for her playful and mischievous personality. Aliya has showcased with Standup NBC in New York at the renowned Gotham Comedy Club, Zoofest/Off-JFL, Chicago’s NBC/Second City Breakout Comedy Festival, SiriusXM’s Top Comic, Montreal’s LadyFest and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. She can be heard on the CBC LOL network, as well as SiriusXM.
