Vision boards => Reality!

It has been roughly nine years since our formation in 2015 and we have accomplished so much in that time! We have grown to provide in class voter education presentations to 20,000 students annually and have registered 33,000 students to vote since our inception. Our amazing supporters and volunteers have done so much to make this work possible. If you want to be a part of this important mission, sign up to become a volunteer by following the link in our bio!

According to the Elections Office, there are 1,426,700 registered voters in Dallas County. Only 16.26% of those voters participated in the Primary Elections that were held on March 5. Similarly, of Tarrant County’s 1,270,332 registered voters, only 16.85% turned out in the primary. Both counties reported significantly lower turnout rates this year than they did in 2020 (24.5% in Dallas and 24.7% in Tarrant). Here’s the important takeaway from all of this data: DON’T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF YOUR VOTE IN EVERY ELECTION. Show up, be heard, and make your mark on history!

03/07/2024

If you weren't registered to vote in time for the primary election - let us help you get registered now! Did you know there are local elections happening in less than 2 months? Then possibly run off elections, and then of course the presidential election in November. There are LOTS of opportunities to vote this year. Reach out so we can get you registered to be part of the next election!

03/02/2024

There are only THREE days between now and Super Tuesday! If you haven’t already voted, make sure you have a plan for March 5th! Visit our website to help you make your plan to vote. You can find your closest polling location and determine the best time for you to get there.

Voting early can often be easier than waiting until Election Day. You’ll usually encounter shorter wait times and have greater flexibility to get to a polling location at a time that works best for you (even on the weekend!). Be in the know about these options in your county! For more information click the link in our bio or visit your county's elections website.

It's 30° outside so you might not be able to dive into a pool right now, but you can definitely dive into voting resources on the world wide web! While you’re stuck inside, start making your plan to vote - do some research to find out who is running for what elected positions (it’s not just the presidential candidates on the ballot this year!). Ballotready.org and votesmart.org are great resources to find out more. Stay warm, stay informed, and be the change you want to see! ❄️
