Today is nationwide Giving Tuesday, for supporting worthy charities. Here are good principles to live by, which I also posted on my personal page. Doing all these regularly will make for an extraordinary life with an amazing heritage.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. Thanks for your prayers, volunteering, and financial gifts in 2012. This was an especially great year for our enthusiastic volunteers in convention booths. God bless your families and home education.

My home school graduate Jennifer is returning to town tomorrow. I look forward to the special days she will be here. She's made a wonderful life for herself in this crazy world and is as sweet as can be.

We sent out our first grant letter of inquiry for 2012 this week and are in line for new funding with a major foundation. Please pray for the blessing to obtain grants again this year.

Great experiments & resources to give kids hands-on real science they need for life & college. The attitude is exploring & celebrating God's creation with gusto. Labs I did with my children I got in high school or college. Now, public schools will not even allow these experiments, but home schoolers can still do them & LEARN! The author is brilliant & we did labs with him. Good material for earth, life, chemistry, physics, biology, geology for grades elemntary to 12th. If your kids love science this will be irresistable, This became "Science in a Box." EX: My girls did frog dissections & labeling in 3rd & 5th grades.

15 years of HSFT!!! We celebrate being an educational entity since October 1997, which will soon be the completion of 15 years. Do you have anniversary celebration thoughts, or online display ideas to share with us?

One of my twins is the new webmaster and in training already. We will all be so glad to have her help for Facebook and web site information soon, since mom is wearing so many hats and needs more hands. The web site designs we selected are lovely. We can hardly wait to publish those pages in July 2012 for you to enjoy. We will include many photos and change the gallery regularly, since we have been collecting them from twins and triplet families for 15 years.

$$$ HSFT is a nonprofit educational 501(c)3 corporation approved as a publicly supported charity by the IRS. We have a board of directors, officers, budget, bylaws, and annual tax filing. Your donations to HSFT from your business, grant, or family are tax-deductible and greatly needed and appreciated to help us continue reaching out to the public.

What is our purpose? To educate, encourage, and inspire.

Who is our target audience? Not only families with twins and triplets, but we serve the general public, homeschooling families of all sizes and backgrounds, adult twins who still celebrate being a multiple, and usually families with Christian beliefs. If you are pregnant with twins and have not even decided about school choices, welcome and jump right in! Let us hear from you, too.

We are still receiving surveys from the May 2012 Book Fair, so there is still time to participate by email or phone. Contact us for the questions, which in this 12-item survey are to plan for 2013 activities and features on the new web site. Let us know what you want!

Please write to us with your questions and thoughts on homeschooling twins and more. We love sharing tips from one homeschooling family to another. The web site www.teachmytwins.org is almost finished and will be back online soon. We enjoyed seeing many of you at the recent Home School Book Fair in Arlington. Thanks for helping us write encouraging notes to our selected family who have both twins and triplets! You were great!
