Happy Independence Day, church family! As we celebrate our freedom as Americans today, let's reflect on the freedom we have in Christ. Romans 8:2 says, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death." This means that because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have been set free from sin to eternal life! So enjoy your grill-outs, pool parties, lake days, and firework shows today knowing you're free in Christ! 🇺🇸 🎆

"We lift up our heart and hands towards God in heaven" -Lamentations 3:41
God truly reigns above it all! 🙏
Rear Admiral Lee concluded his sermon yesterday, stating, “Many have died for your freedom, but only one has died for your soul, and his name is Jesus Christ.” Claps and cheers erupted as he said these words, and it served as an acknowledgment of the difference in sacrifice that is crucial to retain. If it were not for the sacrifice of Jesus, there would be no country to fight for. There would be no military to protect us. There would be no goodness to defend.
Go forward remembering this: live to make God proud, fulfilling His wishes for you as His child. Live so that the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces are further strengthened. In doing this, your freedom will always carry worth, and the battles fought for you will remain honored. You will become great at being godly. 🙏
"For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." - Galatians 5:13
