T’was the night before the first day of school! We cannot wait to open the doors for our 72nd year of school!!!

Wishing all our alumni, from Kindergarteners to Seniors, a happy new school year! May you be safe, happy, and forever find joy in learning. We can't wait to welcome our students and teachers back soon!

Did you know that almost every member of our TCC teaching team started off as a mom at our school? And if not, they may have attended as a child themselves, or they joined our team as soon as they could! As we grow as a school we also get to grow our teaching team, and we’d love to invite you to join us! Send .tornelli or a message for more information!

To all the moms in my TCC life, our current mother, alumni mothers and our dedicated staff, and our caretaking grandmothers ... When you don’t think anyone is watching, I have a front row seat to witness it all... I see the care and love you give, the big hugs at drop off even if very far away, the note lovingly scribbled on a napkin in the lunch box. I see you juggle between your children, aging parents, multiple responsibilities in and outside of your homes, and often saying yes to others before yourselves. If a ball drops, you pick it up as best you can and keep juggling. I see the worry, the hopes, the wonder, the joy, the pride, the weight, and the deepest and purest of love. Today, we celebrate all mothers, but for our TCC mothers, I celebrate YOU just a little extra. ❤️ Christy

Happy National Handwriting Day! Here are some fun activities to strengthen strong muscles and practice letter formation. The best activities are the ones you can easily integrate into your daily routine. Consider prepping a few ideas and place in a small baggie to keep in the car. That way you can pass it out to your kiddos to help pass the time in waiting rooms, restaurants or any other place you find to have a few moments.

The award was graciosuly accepted, along with other deserving local businesses and non-profits, at a luncheon hosted by Lakehill Prep. It was an absolutely beautiful day with the most amazing send off to our students for the summer.

We know there are many choices for where to send your child to school, and we so appreciate that you choose us!

Today we had a special guest for our end of year performance. Ellie is a TCC alum and was just announced the valedictorian for Woodrow high school. She will be attending Washington University in St Louis in the fall. It’s amazing to think that our very own Kristi Florence and Laura Irving were two of her first teachers, and now she’s soaring to great heights. How amazing that she was able to join us before her next chapter!!
