**Just some pointers and reminders about our event**

- Toys DO NOT have to be wrapped! The hospital will only process toys that are unwrapped. Any wrapped toys will go to the local kiddos in need as well as shelters.

- If you do decide to wrap your toy, please label somewhere on it what the toy is so we know what age and gender it is meant for 😊

- ANYONE can bring a toy, spectators… you are more than welcome to bring toys to donate!

- At the courtesy of JumpinR's Moonwalk Rentals, Mr. Gomez has generously donated some of his bouncy house rentals for our event. So, bring your kiddos as we will have 2 of these set up for them to have a little fun 🤩

- PLEASE come prepared for cooler weather, we want everyone to come enjoy the fun while being comfortable and warm 😇

- PLEASE be timely so that we can formally introduce the teams to the crowd for the Calcutta, and be paid up in full when you enter. It helps us to not have to call anyone back up to the announcers stand during the rodeo, as many of our cowboys are on multiple teams! This makes it easier on the bookkeepers and the contestants as well!

- Please pay in CASH ONLY. Without cash, it makes a payout very difficult especially since we are doing 90%.

- We are still welcoming sponsors and donations (can remain anonymous at your request) any amount of money, toys, gift baskets/ gift cards for our sponsors to have a chance to win throughout the rodeo, the gift basket/gift card drawing is a way for us to thank our sponsors for generously donating their time and money to our event. Without sponsors, none of this would be possible!

-LAST BUT NOT LEAST… please remember that this is a benefit ranch rodeo that is geared towards children. This is a family friendly ranch rodeo event being held to help other children in need. Violence, fighting, unacceptable behavior or engagement in any behavior of such WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If such a thing does happen and your are involved in the matter, you will be escorted off of the premises. I don’t ask anyone for much but, I hold firm on this rule for the sake of this being an event held for children.

Hey, ya'll!
My name is Katy Morrow. I'm a registered nurse at a children's hospital in San Antonio. My passion is working with kids! Unfortunately, I work with many children who do not get to spend the holidays at home because of a hospital stay or long-term illness, and I also work with many children who are less fortunate than others during Christmas time.
I have created a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization called "Stampede for Smiles". This organization aims to raise toys and funds for toys for the children through having an annual ranch rodeo as well as possibly growing big enough to have different types of events throughout the year.
This takes time and patience, but I'm hoping for great success!!
