‼️Summertime Free Tax Prep‼️

Even though the 2023 tax filing season officially ended on April 15, Community Tax Centers, in partnership with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, continues to offer free tax prep services over the summer. Families and individuals making less than $64,000 can still save hundreds of dollars on tax preparation fees!

Services offered during the summer include:
Current and prior year’s federal tax returns
Amendments to previously filed tax returns
IRS letter queries
ITIN applications and renewals
Tax returns for foreign students and non-residents

For a qu**ky and easy tax filing, bring the following documents for you, your spouse, and anyone else you are claiming as a dependent:
Photo ID
Social Security Card (or other official document with full SSN on it) or ITIN Letter/Card
All W2s and 1099s
Checking/Savings account number
Last year’s tax return (if available)

This past weekend, we had the immense joy of celebrating the winners of the Beauty In Bloom Mother’s Day Makeover Giveaway! JCPenney and Project Beauty teamed up to pamper some incredible single moms with a day of makeovers, shopping, and beautiful portraits. 🌸✨

These resilient women, who tirelessly give their all every single day, finally had a chance to sit back, relax, and feel cherished. From stunning makeovers that brought out their radiant beauty, to shopping sprees filled with laughter and excitement, and capturing their gorgeous smiles in portraits—they deserved every moment of this special day.

Seeing their faces light up with joy and confidence was truly heartwarming. To all the single moms out there, you are the epitome of strength and love. The makeover was just a small way to say thank you for all that you do. 💖
