Having served as a lab tech during the AIDS epidemic in Dallas, she faces life's challenges with resilience. Families in Dolphin Heights, a vibrant neighborhood south of I-30 and east of Fair Park, not only rely on Mayor Hill for City Hall matters but also seek her invaluable advice on various aspects of life.

Guiding her community with grace, Mayor Hill encourages her neighbors to stay connected and supports their overall well-being. In Dolphin Heights, a diverse neighborhood comprising around 250 homes and 150 Carpenter’s Point apartments for older adults, Mayor Hill describes her neighbors as hardworking individuals committed to their daily endeavors.
