Have you met our in-house Dr. Kimberley?

She is a Texas native from the beautiful Sun City El Paso. After completing her undergrad at the University of Texas at El Paso with a major in exercise science and a minor in biology, She then attended Parker University, receiving her Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master's degree in Clinical Neuroscience.

Dr. Kim practices with a less-invasive approach, utilizing hands-on and instrument-assisted manipulations, physiotherapy modalities, and soft tissue manipulation. She's also certified in Webster's Technique and Dry Needling.

Dr. Kim is a blessing to our mamas and their babies but also sees all members of the family!

Commonly known as “the love hormone” for its role in social and romantic relationships, oxytocin plays a huge role in childbirth:

1️⃣ Responsible for uterine contractions during labor.

2️⃣ Contributes to the placenta’s ejection reflex, helping the uterus return to its original shape faster.

3️⃣Creates a sense of euphoria in the mother and, at the same time, helps her develop a stronger bond with her baby.

4️⃣Released by both mama and baby during breastfeeding, causing slight sleepiness, mild euphoria, and increased love for one another - helping strengthen the bond between mama and baby.

As they should be done, we conduct newborn exams right next to the parents in bed, informing and educating them along the way. We move slowly, gently soothing babies as they adjust from skin to skin. We stop to cuddle and comfort as needed, taking our time to not only assess your baby's health but obsess over all the sweet little details, too.
