Faith Fitness Ministry
A Catholic ministry for young adults in their 20s and 30s
Faith Fitness Ministry is a Catholic ministry for young adults in their 20s and 30s, dedicated to the evangelization of Jesus’s message and teachings. Through our monthly brewery and fitness events in DFW, we aspire to equip young adults with faith-based knowledge, empowering them to embrace and embody their beliefs with unwavering conviction.
We are preparing the stage for you to ask questions about the Catholic Faith to our "masters," priests and religious sisters of the church. This annual panel discussion aims to address your deepest thoughts and foster meaningful conversations among Catholics. Complimentary beverages will be generously provided by Ben E. Keith Beverages.

Embracing the mystery of faith through the Holy Eucharist, where bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ, nourishing our souls with divine grace.
Questions Jeff .schiefelbein left us to ponder as he invited the Holy Spirit at :
- Do we believe that Jesus performed miracles during His earthly ministry?
- Do we believe that Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father?
- Do we believe that Jesus still performs miracles today?
- Do we believe that Jesus gave these spiritual gifts to the apostles?
- Do we believe that the Eucharist is the body and blood of Christ?
Yes, WE Catholics believe!

Jesus said to the Jewish crowds:
"I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh for the life of the world."
The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying,
"How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"
Jesus said to them,
"Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood,
you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
has eternal life,
and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food,
and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so also the one who feeds on me
will have life because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven.
Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died,
whoever eats this bread will live forever."
We listened to the wise words Fr. Ignacio as he shared the ways in which we can unpack the baggage of our pasts.
1) We all carry baggage in our lives which can make us miserable if left unchecked, leading to a snowball effect.
2) Emotional and spiritual baggage must be identified and worked on, including interpreting our emotions and reactions.
3) Christians can rid themselves of baggage by allowing Jesus to take it through sacraments and forgiveness, despite circumstances.
4) Letting go of grudges and hurts is difficult but necessary for healing.
5) Jesus' power can restore and renew us, emphasizing self-forgiveness and recognizing God's unconditional love.
6) Forgiveness, both of others and ourselves, is crucial for healing and self-compassion.
Thank you for leading us to God.

Auxillary Bishop Greg Kelly created a calm and peaceful environment as he advised our young adults and our mentors on how to descern God’s Will. He described the following points.
- Embrace active faith
- Be willing to sacrifice and leave something behind
- Reflect on your own conversion before converting others
- Exercise patience
- Stay close to the sacraments
- Serve others with love and compassion
A cherished addition to our young adult community was the presence of various Religious Orders: Sisters of the Incarnate Word Institute, Cistercian Monks, Jesuits, Dominican Sisters, Vincentian Fathers, School Sisters of Notre Dame, and Consecrated Women (Regnum Christi).
