Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. We read in todays gospel reading (Luke 1:26-38) about Mary’s fiat yes and we invite you pause your scroll and to pray this prayer with us as we strive to be more like her in our every day lives;

Hail Mary,
Obtain for me the help that I need,
to do my very best
using all the powers within me
and all the talents and skills I posses,
according to my possibilities,
to fulfill God’s plan
in every circumstance of my life.
Amen.

Thank you for praying with us🙏🏼

This year we participated in our first ever Giving Tuesday through I Give Catholic and we wanted to say a big thank you to all of y’all who helped! St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church ended up placing 2nd place out of 38 parishes who participated! WOW!!

We had so many people who gave financially, with their time by volunteering, and through endless prayers. We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for y’all. With your help and generosity we raised a grand total of $11,270!!

The money raised will go towards our adult formation programs and ministries: RCIA, marriage ministries, young adults, Bible studies, book clubs, speaker series, and more.

If you’re just now seeing this and you would like to still give, you can give by cash or check till December 5th. You can drop an envelope titled “Giving Tuesday” in the baskets at mass or drop it off at the check in window at the parish office!

Please know that we are praying for you!

Pope Francis has called for October 27th to be a day of fasting and prayer for peace and restraint in the war in the Holy Land.

A rosary, prayed to Our Lady Queen of Peace, might seek her intercession.

Please join us this Friday in a day of fasting and prayer. For more information check out the diocesan news section of our website.

This past weekend we had our annual ministry volunteer training. There was formation, community, amazing talks by Fr. John, Fr. Ryan, and Brandon Barker, and so much more!

If you are searching for a way to get more involved at STA or simply to find an authentic community - we invite you to join us for our Organization and Ministry Fair today, August 27th. Find us in the upper school gym from 10-12:30 and enjoy some Kona ice while you’re looking around!

We hope to see you there!

The Church celebrates the birthday of only three people: Jesus, Mary, and…John the Baptist, whose nativity is celebrated today! Why such a focus on John? Because as the forerunner of Christ, his birth marks a new relationship with God. St. John the Baptist, pray for us!

06/17/2023

PLEASE REMEMBER:

Beginning this weekend, June 17/18 thru August 18th, the church is closed for maintenance and all week-end Masses are in the Gym.

Confessions are in the St. Joseph (also daily Mass Chapel) and St. Therese room.

Please park in the south parking lot near school/field and enter Gym by the covered entrance.
If you choose to park on Alderson, which we discourage, please do not block the rectory circle drive. Also, please observe parking limitation signs on Alderson – we don’t want you to get a ticket.

As well, please be courteous and do not block the driveways of neighbors.

We look forward to seeing you at Mass in the Gym at the regular Mass times.

06/16/2023

Today is the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, when we meditate upon the mystery that God has a human heart, and give thanks for his unceasing love for all mankind. Take a moment, and pray Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

06/13/2023

THE CHURCH WILL BE CLOSED STARTING TOMORROW, JUNE 14TH - AUGUST 19TH for cleaning and painting, as well as the refinishing of pews and some minor electrical work.

SUNDAY MASSES and BAPTISMS will be celebrated in the gym. DAILY MASSES and CONFESSIONS will be held in the rooms around St. Anne Hall.

The temporary relocation will allow us to properly maintain and care for our Church.

Please note that there will be no structural changes to our beautiful Church!
