With we focus on supersets of weighted lifts and explosive body weight movements.
In today’s session we have (5) sets of (2) Hang Power Cleans at roughly 60%.
We superset the Hang Power Cleans with Broad Jumps. Alternating between (2) reps at body weight, and (1) rep with additional weight in hand.
Training to doesn’t have to be fancy or take up an hour of your day. It can simply be a plug-n-play to any program you’re on.

To the 1st World Record I broke in 2010 at the original Crossfit 801 in Midvale, Utah
Originally, the day prior to this jump, I broke the record and re-broke it again two more times...on live tv around 5/6am in the morning with a local news station
Upon review, I felt there was too much margin for the jumps not appearing legit enough from a standing position. So and I met up at the gym again with a local notary and re-did the jump and more legitimately. Definitely had less juice the second day and yet I was very happy to have at least still broken the record that was held by Jonas Huusom at the time
This is all documented in “56 Inches to Fame” by Heber and released by (link in description)
I’d go on to break that record and several others of the years, finally missing a standing 65” at the Arnold Classic in Ohio, by fractions of an inch on my left foot 🤷🏻♂️
Since that time, it’s been awesome and inspiring to see this record be broken so many times by so many people over the years and currently held by one of the most IMPRESSIVE jumpers I’ve ever seen, at 67” 🤯
I’m grateful for anyone whose ever been inspired by those records and I’m grateful to those who have chosen to take on box jump records on their OWN accord ➡️ ( and many more)
All of these athletes inspire me to keep pushing my limits and their training inspires my own evolutions in fitness. If you’re not following these athletes, check them out and give them a FOLLOW!
