MCBA is a non-profit, non-partisan, business league focused on increasing the civic engagement of employees in the DFW area primarily through volunteering and voting in non-partisan elections. The MCBA program coordinates volunteering opportunities at local non-profits, helps employees get registered to vote, and provides non-partisan information surrounding local elections. MCBA is a non-partisan, 501(c)6 non-profit, business league. This means MCBA member fees, corporate donations, and sponsorships are considered business expenses for a member company.
Some important points:
1) MCBA only provides information for local NON-PARTISAN elections. Most importantly, a company will never tell an employee how to vote. MCBA nor a company will ever know how an employee votes.
2) MCBA uses publicly available information matched against information provided by the company to determine the voter registration status of an employee and if (not how) they voted in an election.
3) MCBA provides customized voter guides to employees recommending the most "pro-growth" candidates in non-partisan, local elections. This is for reference only and employees are encouraged to make their own decisions. No one will ever know how an employee votes.
