President's Convocation at Bethune-Cookman University.
An inspiring and meaningful keynote speech was provided by Reverend Dr. Otis Moss III. His words emphasized social justice, spirituality, and community engagement. A large crowd of freshman students, faculty, staff and several other students and dignitaries, filled the Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center.

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation awarded the Bethune-Cookman University Male Explorers Program a $25,000 grant. The Male Explorers Program helps create a path toward college for middle and high school males, increasing their chances of securing a college degree and sustainable careers.

Throwback Thursday for the Marching Wildcats and BCU Football!

Two of the most well-known and revered aspects of our institution. The Marching Wildcats have performed worldwide and have been a consistent musical force for decades. Meanwhile, the BCU football team has also enjoyed great success, sending over 30 players to the NFL. As band camp and summer workouts ramp up towards the start of the season, we eagerly anticipate the full return of the Wildcats!

Did you know, Bethune Cookman is well-represented at the Olympics this year with two Olympic Track and Field stars? Sade McCreath and Monae’ Nichols representing Canada and the United States respectively.

Our Marching Wildcats are gearing up for their return to the field! Band camp kicks off this week as they prepare for their big performance in Houston at the National Battle of the Bands on August 25th.

And so it begins!
Wildcat Athletics and Auxiliary are back on campus this Monday, and we’re excited to kick things off. Early check-in starts today for Athletics and Auxiliary, with Resident Assistants checking in shortly after. Can’t wait to see everyone!

Today a moment of prayer was held at Heyn Memorial Chapel this morning with important members of the Bethune Cookman family. Wildcats take a moment to connect and reflect.

Remembering President Emeritus Dr. Oswald Perry Bronson on his birthday. Dr. Bronson is the Longest-tenured president in school history, serving the institution from 1975-2004. The former pastor laid much of the groundwork for our school to become a university, nearly doubling student enrollment numbers, and supporting the construction of 15 new campus buildings. Dr. Bronson is a B-CU alumni, graduating in 1950. Today we celebrate what would have been his 97th birthday.
