My Morning Devotion: Bait and Lure

Pray to the level of God's ability instead of the size of your need.

RENAME YOUR GIANT(s):
Change your Proclamation – speak to your issue – Rename your Situation. The giant that had the army of Israel in fear and disheartened, David observed the situation; he remembered the God he served... instead of being dismayed and distressed, David gave Goliath another name. He called the giant an UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINE.
Who is this man that's not covenanted, not connected to my God, in defiance of the God I serve?
Rename your challenges that are outside of the will of God.
1Sa 17:26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

A word to encourage you.
God intentionally sent Gideon to hear what his enemies were saying about him.
Jdg 7:9 That night the LORD said, “Get up! Go down into the Midianite camp, for I have given you victory over them!
Jdg 7:10 But if you are afraid to attack (have doubts), go down to the camp with your servant Purah. Jdg 7:11 Listen to what the Midianites are saying, and you will be greatly encouraged. Then you will be eager to attack.” So Gideon took Purah and went down to the edge of the enemy camp.

Give it another Name.

Justified by the Blood of Jesus

Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!”
You rescues me from hidden traps, shields me from deadly hazards.
Your huge outstretched arms protect me— under them I'm perfectly safe; Your arms fend off all harm. Ps 91

When you minister to your wife and the word began to speak to you. I believe there are others who can be encouraged by this devotion.

1 Cor. 16:9
A. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
B. because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.
C. because a wide door for effective ministry has opened for me[fn] — yet many oppose me.

God has open a wide door for effective work at your company, the enemy is angry and seek to do a
John 10:10a: -
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;

Keep your focus on what Christ said in John 10:10 B clause…
I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.

A. Satan come to Steal your Joy
B. To Kill your testimony and praise concerning what God has done, what God is doing, and what God is going to do ---
C. Destroy your Strength and resolve to keep thriving.
The enemy goal is to distract and shift your focus to what he is doing.

Remember: Keep praying and praising God – Your praise will silence the voice of the adversary.
Psalms 8:2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
- You have the power to drown out his chatter and babble.
- When you tell of the goodness, faithfulness, and might of God… you shut down and silence all who oppose you.

You serve an all knowing God who is able…

I like Paul's quote in 2 Tim 1:12 - That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure THAT HE IS ABLE to guard what I have entrusted to him[a] until the day of his return.

God has set you apart for this great work at your company – to demonstrate hard work, to shine the Light of Christ, to be a witness through work, word and deed… Market place Ministry –

Unfortunately, It’s may also be the cause of much trouble. But like the Apostle Paul said...
I have no regrets. I couldn’t be more sure of my ground—the One I’ve trusted in can take care of what he’s trusted me to do right to the end.

This is what I feel I need to share with you on today: Seeing the problem is not your real problem, your overwhelming problem is that you lack the insight to see the solution. Your blindness to seeing the solution is the real problem. Pray and get a revelation from Jesus and tell me if your problem is still a problem. Behold, the Light has come to Shine in your Heart!

This is what I heard this morning: Somebody is about to Shift... You are not being fought on the level of where you are, you are being fought on the level of your potential, purpose, and destiny. Therefore, you have to start warring and fighting backing on the level of where you are going not where you are. SHIFT!!! jc

God gives you space to repent, if you fail to do so, God will lift your skirt and reveal all of your nakedness. Did America reject the plea of God to repent? Now the ugliness of rebellion, lawlessness, pride, haughtiness, greed, bigotry and racism to name a few of its sinful ways are being revealed on a world stage. America, the land of the free, its business, is being exposed. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and (repent) turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

When your sin is revealed to the masses, normally it because you refused to heed to the voice of God secretly.

A word to bring clarity to your prayer request: You told God you wanted to change. That you were tired of the person that was sharing your body. We often say God please hear my prayers. No, God hears your actions. Our actions speak to the authenticity of our prayers.

A Word to encourage your heart. While you seemingly is in a low place, God is already talking to someone about your next place. This is what the Lord gave me this morning for you… God had a conversation with the Prophet Samuel about David's elevation who was in the field of preparation learning to know and understand God's communication while in the school of isolation. That season of David’s formulation was necessary to lay the foundation for his Kingdom occupation which God himself testified of his future re-classification. David’s seemingly low place became the heart of his qualification for exaltation which eventually led to a confrontation with an enemy who had rendered the fighting army of Israel to a cowardly position of desolation. Hold your head up, God has a plan for your seemingly low habitation. jc

Deliverance in the community. The power of God was manifested and lives were forever changed. Street ministry began for me 14 yrs ago when I preached in Woodrow Wilson Park in downtown Atlanta. It forever changed my perspective of tak=ing the church outside of the walls. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT.
