While funding is available, our Covington Hwy location accepts walk-ins for heating assistance on July 1 - July 3 from 8 AM to 2 PM for households of DeKalb, Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale, and Walton Counties. This is for households that have not received heating assistance since December 1. If you have already received assistance during this period, you won't be able to qualify.

Walk-ins will only be accepted at our 3597 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30032 location. Please bring all required documents, including ID, Social Security card, proof of income for the last 30 days, and current gas and electric bills.

Beginning May 1, 2024, appointments for LIHEAP Heating and Cooling Program's will become available. You can visit our website at www.pcaction.org for additional informaiton or to book an appointment.

Please note that heating appointments are only available to households who haven't recieved assistance between December 2023 and present day. Each household is eligible for heating assistance once per program year.

Cooling Appointments open for Senior households (65+) and homebound households on April 1, 2024.

All other household appointments will open on May 1, 2024.

2024 GCAA Schlarship
PCA, Inc. joins with the GCAA in annoucing the availability of a $2,500 scholarship to be awarded on a statewide basis to a GA resident who is currently attending a post-secondary educational institution or has been accepted at such an educational institution. Please review post for further details and instructions.

Due to an emergency plumbing repair at our Covington Hwy office in DeKalb County, the office will be closed for the remainder of today. If you have an appointment today, Thursday, January 23, 2024, we will have to be rescheduled. A PCA staff member will call you between Wednesday, January 24, and Thursday, January 25 to reschedule.
