Delran Emergency Squad
Delran EMS is a career & volunteer 911 agency who takes pride in serving our community since 1939.
The Friday of every years' EMS Week is known as EMS Recognition Day. The EMS providers, not just in Burlington County, but everywhere, never stop learning, work long hours, always do the best to provide quality, compassionate care. Whether it's 9-1-1 based or non-emergent transport, EMS providers make the difference. So thank you to all who took the step to enter EMS, and here's hoping you have a quiet shift today đ

The refresher classes will be held at the Delran Emergency Squad station: 900 s Chester Ave, Delran NJ.
The golden link that holds it all together. Happy dispatcher week!
Letâs rewind and take a look at our Squadâs history
In 1937, a group of dedicated people decided to form a committee to start the research on first aid in Delran. 2 years later in 1939, the committee began responding to first aid calls out of the Delran Fire Department.
In 1950, the first aid squad began to grow and began to cover the Delanco and Riverside towns for medical emergencies.
This is also the year that the committee became the Delran Emergency Squad!
In the pictures below, you see the dedicated people who volunteered their time to ensure the safety and wellness of the Delran residents.
In the photo you see the older apparatuses: 2394 (Wheeled Coach Ford Van Ambulance) and 2392 (Type II 1984 MedTec Van).
Thank you to the officers for their efforts that always go above and beyond for our community!
Congratulations!
Dear Residents it is possible that you felt a bit shaken in the past hour. We did just experience an 4.8 earthquake originating from Lebonnon NJ.
Please do not call 911 unless you have an emergency or experienced damage from the earthquake and need assistance.
Thank You and Stay Safe
Well done Officer!! đŤĄ
We would like to congratulate and thank Patrolman Erdem Ucak for his selfless dedication to the community. Last night, Patrolman Erdem Ucak was presented with the Valor award from Edgewater Park Township. On December 28, 2023, Ptl. Ucak responded to a fire at the Edgewater Manor Apartment complex in Edgewater Park Township. Ptl. Ucak and Ptl. Isael Torres-Jimenez (Beverly City Police Department) put their lives on the line to save a male still inside the fire.
Congratulations!! đĽ đ đŤĄ
We send our condolences to the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company and to Trevor Brownâs family.
The fallen firefighter from last nightâs home explosion in Sterling has been identified as Firefighter Trevor Brown, 45, of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company. He has been affiliated with the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System since 2016. Please keep Firefighter Brownâs family, friends, and colleagues in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, and we ask that the familyâs privacy be respected.
As a result of last nightâs incident, emergency medical services personnel from Loudoun and Fairfax Counties identified 13 patients in addition to the fatally injured Firefighter Brown. This includes 11 first responders and two civilians with varying degree of injuries. Of the injured first responders, four remain hospitalized at local area hospitals. The Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Fire Marshalâs Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident and additional information will be released as available.

âď¸ SNOW ON THE WAY. It looks like our area will receive 4-6 inches of snow tonight. Reminder:
âĄď¸DPW applied brine to the roadways to reduce ice and standing by with the plows
âĄď¸ All residents should remove their cars from the street
âĄď¸ Do not shovel snow into the street
âĄď¸ It takes 8 hours after the last snowflake for DPW to plow the whole Township. So if you clear your driveway before the 8-hour window, you can expect to be plowed back in. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this.
âĄď¸Report power outages to PSEG at 1-800-436-7734
âĄď¸ Charge your electronic devices and keep a battery-powered radio & flashlight nearby
âĄď¸Clean all snow and ice from your vehicle before driving
âĄď¸As always, the men and women of the
Delran Township Police Department, Delran Fire Department, Delran Emergency Squad are standing by to address any emergencies. Call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency.
Let's be safe!
Our duty crew decided to take advantage of the amazing weather to give our trucks some âTLCââď¸

So glad we got to stop for this young lady while out cruising around town between calls!
CREWS HAVE COMPLETED THE REPAIR!
We are so far ahead of our projected repair schedule, that we hope to put down the temporary paving of the intersection tomorrow (1-24-24) if weather permits. The final top coat of asphalt will be done when the weather breaks in the spring.

đ¨NEW HIGHLY ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCE FOUND IN DELRAN TOWNSHIP AREA đđ
We have received a significant amount of intel from Departments all over the State. Lately, we have gotten numerous reports of an extremely addictive substance that is being pushed in and around the Township of Delran. This item from the outside is seemingly harmless, but only those that have suffered from this, know the true damage it can cause.
This item isnât new, but it seems to only get âPushedâ for a short period of time. The dealers of these items are tricky. They will stand outside popular public areas such as grocery stores, outdoor stores, and gas stations to try and push their product on you. These people are often disarming by giving you an innocent smile and being courteous and friendly.
Thatâs how they get you⌠And then it happens⌠Youâre hooked..
These items have numerous different street names to look out for including (But not limited to) âTrefoilsâ, âToffee-Tasticâ, âLemon-Upsâ, and probably the most widely known and dangerous, âThin Mintsâ. Thatâs right ladies and gentleman⌠Itâs Girl Scout Cookie Season.
We want to help you with these highly addictive items. Being the Community-Minded Department, we have set up a proper disposal service to assist in getting these items âOff the Streetsâ. You can drop them off at 900 Chester Avenue (Which is coincidentally the Delran Emergency Squad And Delran Police Department) Our EMTâs and Police are highly trained and prepared to dispose of these items safely and effectively. Just remember, weâre doing this for you, not us. đŞ
**DISCLAIMER*** â
This is a joke.
Support your local Girl Scouts!
They are out working hard to make sure we are enjoying those delicious treats and learning life skills. Also, weâre just kidding about the âDisposal Serviceâ at Delran Emergency Squad ⌠Well Kinda**

ATTENTION CAMBRIDGE DELRAN RESIDENTS!
Please be advised that there has been a major sewer line collapse on Leon Ave, causing a portion of Leon Avenue itself to collapse.
The Delran Sewer Department, Delran Public Works, and Delran First Responders are actively on scene and working to resolve this issue. Please continue to refer back to this post for additional updates.
Please limit your water consumption as it is necessary to temporarily shut down the Fifth Street pump station while this line is repaired or rerouted. We are requesting that you limit usage to what is absolutely necessary for:
⢠Running sinks and showers
⢠Flushing toilets
⢠Running dishwashers
⢠Doing laundry
If you are affected by this problem and are in need of emergency assistance, please call 911.

Earlier today 2395 was in Willingboro Twp. for a structure fire.
CANCELED - We regret to inform you that the Delran Winter Festival & Tree Lighting is canceled. Rain is forecasted during the peak of the event. We have been monitoring the weather closely, but we have to decide now before vendors and employees mobilize and we incur unnecessary expenses. Moving the event indoors at the municipal building is also not possible due to the large crowd and building fire capacity.
The event will not be rescheduled. While we would love to reschedule, it is challenging this time of year with limited vendor availability, limited personnel resources, and competing local holiday events.
We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season. We look forward to next year!
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with the Family, Friends and Officers of the Township of Franklin Police Department, NJ (Somerset County), during this difficult time.
The struggles of mental health doesnât stop over the holidays.
The smallest acts of kindness and compassion during the holidays could possibly help save a life. Even our happiest friends could be going something tragic, we never truly know what a person is going through and/or feeling.
We are here for you and for people who need the first step in help.
