Motherhood is one big adventure in being comfortable with very little control. But there are a few areas where moms can take the reins and steer things in a positive direction! Here are five things you can actually control in your motherhood day today:
Your Attitude
Your attitude sets the tone for the entire household. Choosing to see the positive, even when things get tough, can help create a warm and loving environment. Remember, it's okay to have bad days, but trying to find joy in the little moments can make a big difference.
Your Schedule
While there are always surprises, you have control over how you structure your day. Setting a routine helps provide stability for your kids and can make your life more manageable. Block out time for self-care, family activities, and some downtime too.
Your Reactions
You can't control every situation, but you can control how you respond to them. Modeling calm and thoughtful reactions teaches your children resilience and problem-solving skills. Plus, it helps maintain peace in the household.
Your Priorities
Deciding what matters most to you and your family is something you can control. Whether it's spending quality time together, family devotions, ensuring everyone eats healthy meals, or keeping a clean house- setting and sticking to your priorities helps keep your family aligned.
Your Self-Care
Taking care of yourself isn't just a luxury; it's a necessity. You have the power to carve out time for activities that replenish your energy and spirit. Whether it's reading a book, going for a walk, or enjoying a hobby, self-care enables you to be the best version of yourself for your family.

The way you mother changes your family tree forever, altering the course of generations, and the world.
Ever feel like you're just making it through the day, amidst the spills, thrills, and endless wills? We get it.
Here's a reminder for you today: every gentle word, every warm hug, every bedtime story, and yes, even setting those boundaries – it’s more than just the daily grind. You’re investing in generations to come.
With every loving action, you’re crafting a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness that those littles will remember when they have their own.
So, when the days feel long and the years short, remember: You’re not just changing diapers; you’re changing the world, one little heart at a time. You’re creating ripples that turn into waves. 🌊
You’ve got this, and we’ve got you. 💖✨

I don’t recognize myself in the mirror sometimes. It’s more than my body, though that has changed in almost every way possible.
It feels like there is a woman inside of me, begging to be let out; to let my hair down; to splash wild in the November ocean to have awkward conversations with strangers; to dance in the kitchen uninhibited with groggy eyes by the envelopes stuffed with bills; to be silly and smile more than not.
It’s not that I think motherhood is at odds with my truest self, but rather, motherhood’s load and the exhaustion of sleepless nights and the responsibilities of adulting sit heavy against the door where I keep her locked away.
I’m fighting to crack open the door and let the light in again — to sneak her into my daily rhythm, to remember how it feels to be random and romantic and reckless enough to feel alive, and to bring my kids along for the adventure.
I want them to remember me for my love of the gas station snacks we get along countless road trips more than my obsessiveness over the details of each destination. I want to be memorialized by the mark I’ve made on people and the memories I was fully present for, like puddle jumping fully clothed in denim. I want them to see me as a lover of life, instead of a lover of logistics.
May I just be brave enough to push past the sentries of stress and sleepiness and self-doubt long enough to see her in the mirror once again.

We've got this one, precious life. How do we want to fill each day? In the hustle of school runs, playdates, and what feels like an endless cycle of dishes, it's easy to lose sight of the big picture.
Let's fill our days with what truly lights us up. Whether it's making time for those heart-to-heart cuddles, pursuing a passion that's been on the back burner, or simply enjoying the chaos that is life with kids. Remember, it's about finding joy in the small moments, laughter in the mistakes, and peace in the fact that we're doing our best.
Let's promise to make our one, wild, and precious life a story worth telling - not just through the milestones, but in the everyday moments that make up the beautiful tapestry of motherhood. Here's to living, loving, and laughing in the now, and doing it all with a heart full of gratitude and grace.
Yes, you CAN run with us. Don’t be intimidated by your fear of something new or be trapped by your self-limiting thoughts. ❌

Don't make these 5 big mom-mistakes! https://www.themom.co/5-of-the-biggest-mistakes-you-can-make-as-a-mom/
Motherhood is like trying to fold a fitted sheet neatly—complicated with a capital ‘C’! But here's the beautiful part - mom friends are like that secret life hack that suddenly makes everything smoother (or at least way more fun!).
That's what we're all about here at MomCo - joining hands and hearts with mamas who get it, who laugh at the chaos, and who are there with open arms (and maybe some emergency chocolate 🍫) when you need it most. Because connecting with a mom friend can turn a mountain of worry into a manageable molehill.
So, whether you're navigating the terrific twos or the teenager years, know that MomCo is your local and online village.. where understanding and support are waiting for you. www.themom.co

We’ve all been there, needing that recommendation that only another mom can offer - whether it’s the best diaper rash cream or the coziest coffee shop for a post-stroller stroll. Why keep all the good stuff to ourselves? It’s your turn to tap into your mom strength – your influence – and spread the word about the MomCo community!
On August 6, let’s partner together to bring even more moms into our fold. Plan with your group to give your community a peek into your Meetup. Let them in on the good stuff by planning a park takeover, passing out popsicles while the kids play, or even leaving a trail of invites wherever your littles lead you.

Throwback to that heart-skipping moment when you first learned the title 'Mom' was on its way to you. Can you imagine telling her all the stories she’ll live, the tiny socks she’ll fold, the midnight lullabies she'll hum in a whisper? 🎶✨
That girl with the positive test and a million dreams fluttering in her heart—she had no clue, did she? About the strength she'd muster, the depths of love she'd feel, or the endless hats she'd wear (chef, chauffeur, nurse, negotiator, the list goes on...). Yet here you are, doing it all and then some.
Trust us, she would be more than proud; she'd be in awe of you. Because every day, you're not just meeting those dreams; you're surpassing them in ways big and small.
So here's a gentle reminder from one mom to another: you are absolutely rocking this mom journey, even on days when you feel like you're not.
We all strive to be the superheroes in our children's stories, don't we? Leaping tall laundry piles in a single bound and conjuring dinner out of thin air. But, can we share a little secret that's been a game-changer?
Letting our kiddos see our imperfections isn't just okay; it's a gift. Yes, you heard that right, a gift! It teaches them resilience, that it's alright to stumble, get back up, and laugh off the flour that somehow ended up more on you than in the cookie dough. It shows them the strength in vulnerability, the courage in admitting, "Mama needs a break," and the beauty in laughing together over a pancake that looks more like a blob than a heart.
By peeling back the curtain and allowing them to see the real, unfiltered us - yes, even the days when the cape doesn't quite fasten right - we're teaching them that perfection isn't the goal. Love, understanding, and growth are. We're encouraging them to embrace their journey, with all its twists and tumbles, because we're right there alongside them, cheering, learning, and sometimes tripping over that superhero cape together.
So, here's to being perfectly imperfect, to showing up as we are, and to the deep, lasting lessons that come from simply being real with our little ones.
Whatever type of mom you are, or season you're in, whether you prefer to meet online or in-person, we've got a group for you.
Mom Grace, not mom guilt. 🌟☕ Because, let’s be real, the guilt can sneak up on us like lost legos on the living room floor - unexpected and oh-so-painful. But here’s the beautiful flip side: grace. Grace is our reminder that we’re doing our best in a world that sometimes feels like it’s set to “expert mode” without giving us the instructions.
Remember that time you let them have cereal for dinner because you just couldn’t muster up the energy to cook? Or that moment you chose an extra 30 minutes of sleep over laundry? That’s grace, mama. It’s the gentle understanding that you are human, beautifully and wonderfully made, rolling with the tidal waves of motherhood.
Let’s swap out that heavy cloak of guilt for a light, shimmering shawl of grace. Wrap it around your shoulders. Feel its warmth. This journey is wild, wonderful, and sometimes wearying, but you are navigating it with all the love, courage, and grace in the world. 💖✨
Here’s to less guilt and more grace. To more laughing over spilled milk and cereal dinners. To more embracing the real life around us than wishing for the one in our heads.
Remember, it's totally okay to have those days where motherhood feels more like a puzzle with missing pieces than a picture-perfect postcard. We all have them, and it doesn’t make you any less of a mother. Embrace the struggle, lean on your tribe, and know that every little bump is just part of this story God is creating for you and through you.
