and I were at this hearing yesterday. The overwhelming support for was amazing but this isn’t over yet!

City council members voted “yes” because they were promised the pipeline wouldn’t impact farming. But at Monday’s hearing, we learned that it WOULD impact farming if developers move forward with preliminary plans.
Parkland Metro District would need to install four stormwater pipes on a portion of Palizzi’s farmland, with each pipe buried no deeper than two feet underground.
Deborah Palizzi, who owns the land, told the court that they “rip” through at least four feet of soil when prepping for planting season. She said the project as proposed would destroy their farming operation.

Parkland Metro district was dishonest and is using the “governmental” power to bully a land owner. Brighton City Council was irresponsible in approving eminent domain.

It’s time to recall all the members who voted to approve this nonsense. We will start to collect signatures for this effort. PLEASE call and voice your opinion to council members. This has to be stopped. As stated in court today, there are other ways to accomplish this without taking land away from a family-owned farm. Let’s fight for Palizzi Farm and recall everyone in Brighton who does not represent the beautiful community we all love and enjoy. This isn’t just bad for Brighton but bad for Colorado! The local TV news keeps hyping a travel center on I-25 in Johnstown. So I stopped by one. Didn’t see a human-size beaver mascot but I did get these delicious cinnamon rolls.

I find this so humorous for some reason 😂

Many buyers are waiting on the fence for interest rates to continue their downward descent.
