For the first time, since opening our doors, we had an opportunity to honor the great Mrs. Alice Coltrane. This is something I've wanted to do since Ingrid LaFleur first showed up with her sculpture and installation - a small part of a greater series she'd created in tribute to Alice. That work has lived here since 2018. It spoke to us and engendered a deeper discovery of Alice. THIS is the power of art...and artists who imbue their work with sincerity and love. THANK YOU to all the artists who came together to make this happen, and to the John & Alice Coltrane Foundation for your encouragement and support! More to come....
