Merry Christmas from us, your friendly Eyes on Hudson proprietors. Well, technically Rog is the owner/optometrist/frame curator, and Jonathan is the bookkeeper and lens grinder. But we’re married and stuff so we share. Especially on Christmas. This year we are sharing sick kids, cooking duty, and Jon is in charge of the drinks and Rog is in charge of presents.

This is a special month for Eyes on Hudson because we can now say that we are three years old! And while we may be young in business years, we are seasoned in the industry with over fifty years of combined experience accounted for in our little staff. New shapes, colors, and styles from Res/Rei, handmade in Italy with love! Res/Rei has always made a habit of blending the finest acetates into luxurious, luminous colors. Lately they have been taking a deep dive into the structural 3D elements of a frame, with unique beveling and cut-aways to enhance the luminosity of each piece. Another lovingly curated element of our collection.

It is the end of an era! Today is Justin’s last day at Eyes on Hudson. It is bittersweet to say goodbye because he has been with us from the beginning, and he has personally defined the Eyes in Hudson experience for so many patients and clients. But now he gets to pursue his passion as a Realtor, and what could be better than seeing a friend and colleague pursue their dreams?
