No, this is NOT an April Fools' Day joke... I'm just so excited to get outside with some of my favorite clients! I LOVE outdoor sessions.

I can't think of a better way to welcome spring than photographing twin newborn girls! These little ladies visited me at my studio and reminded me of how much I love photographing itty bitty babies!

Though you'll see many families in my portfolio, my photography career really took off when I was photographing newborns with a local in-hospital photography company. The families you see are all those babies, grown up! I need a new generation of newborn clients... so if you know anyone who is expecting or recently added to their family, please send them my way!

I had my first session of 2024 on Friday. These lovely ladies came to see me while big sis was home from college. It was a spur of the moment session, but that's the best kind. No stress... no fussing over the details... just throw yourselves together and come to my studio. AND BRING THE CAT! (Oh MY Goodness, how adorable is this beautiful creature?!)

It was the best start I could imagine to what should be an amazing year full of the best clients. Happy New Year! I can't wait to see you!

The final gallery of 2023 is edited, uploaded, and on its way to my client... just in time for me to turn my attention to wrapping gifts and watching football.

But is it my final gallery for certain? That's up to you! There are still 8 days left in 2023 and I'm available.

On this gloomy, rainy day, I'm reminded of a super fun session I did a couple years ago where mom & dad let the kids run through puddles and get soaked (at the end of the session, of course)... Rainy days can be so much fun, especially this time of year when it's not too chilly! 🍂🌧🍁☔️

Summer isn't officially over until later this week, but for photographers, fall is in full swing! Which, for me, means seeing all my favorite families, and some new ones too! This family celebrated 10 years of photo sessions with a gorgeous night at Waterfall Glen in DuPage County. Friday night I had the pleasure of meeting a new client and her husband at a beautiful park near Lisle. Next weekend I get to catch up with 3 families who've been with me since I first got started. It's my favorite time of the year!!
