When you as a client first sit in a stylists chair that you have never met before how do you feel?

As for me being behind the chair I may come off quiet at first and then after awhile something we are talking about just clicks and everything feels so comfortable.

When that happens it feels like the wall comes down and we can talk as friends, and that right there is such a special part of my career. Connecting with like minded humans in many ways.

My clients feel like family, and to the new clients that I have met through Well Rooted it truly shows that you attract what you put out there. Thank you for the best connections.

7 month grow out refresh on this little diva.

☀️Full highlight, tip out, tone, Olaplex, and a baby trim.

When a client walks in and says “oh I don’t want it cut I am trying to grow it.” Cue spiel on why you need to cut your hair for it to actually grow…

☀️Your hair will always grow from your root but what WILL result in not cutting your ends every 2.5-3 months THEY WILL BREAK OFF. Cyaaa buh bye.

🐚Your ends will become so brittle, continue up the hair shaft, break break break and then they will eventually fall off over time. Which results in no hair growth.

🌵A great way to remember it’s time for a haircut is when the season changes.

🌱You should be getting a minimum of 4 haircuts per year to keep your hair healthy and to keep those split ends away!!!!

🌵Your hair will always continue to grow from your scalp but if you aren’t cutting off those split ends your hair will eventually be so brittle and break off aka no hair growth.

Nicole here is a chronic only getting her hair done 1-2 times a year type of girl.

🍉We usually do a subtle balayage for the warmer months and take her back to her natural for the cooler months.

❄️Keeping that in mind every time we do her hair I know what’s coming next and know how to best prepare for future appointments.

✨Caitlyn’s goal for today’s visit: still keep some of the pink, add more blonde throughout, and blend in harsh lines.

✨I did a full foilayge on her, a root smudge to blend in the harsh lines and toned the ends. Oh and olaplex was used in the making.

And peep her crystal. As soon as I see someone wearing a crystal I know we’re gonna vibe 🥰

🌵A lot of foils, a root touch up and gloss was done in this session. This was not achieved over night let me tell ya.

🌵Patience is key to coloring your hair in the healthiest way possible ☀️☀️

Spicing things up a bit! This will be an easy maintainable color for Jessica.

☀️She comes in every 4 weeks for a root touch up to cover up her new growth.

🌱She wanted to change things up a little bit so we decided to throw in some pops of color throughout to give her some dimension.

☀️When she comes back in all that will have to be done is a root touch up and a gloss to maintain the lighter pieces (if needed).

🌱Simple and easy so foils will not have to be done every visit.

Tips that blondes won’t want to follow in the summer but I’m gonna tell you anyway.

❗️Pleaseee don’t be dunking your head under a chlorine pool. You can say buh bye to your toner and risk your hair getting a green tint.

❕If you are going swimming something you could do would be lather up conditioner on your ends to help block chlorine to pe*****te into your hair.

❗️Wear a hat in the sun.

Brightened up Leas locks and gave her a nice choppy cut.

I loaded foils in the top section of her head toned and cut. With a lot of texturizing once it was blown dry.

Queue ice ice baby song.

When Nicole tells me how much shampoo she goes through in a month it literally makes me mind blown 😂😂😂

📍ANYWAY we freshened up her locks (after a year of me not touching it) for many fun wedding activities and for her wedding coming up oh so soon.

Hairline details matter especially if you are someone who likes to wear your hair up often!!

Heavy foil, tone and trim.
Over time your blonde can start looking a little dull so I hand painted her ends in between the foils to brighten up some of those end pieces again!

🌛Lily has been doing her own hair a home for awhile and finally decided it was time to get it professionally done and all evened out with still wanting to keep some purple hues throughout.
