Wrapping up our Officer Spotlights is Sarah Miller! She is a junior, majoring in Crop Science with a minor in Business Administration!
Her hometown is New Ringgold, Pennsylvania and she just joined FFA during her college career! After graduation, she plans to get a job in Crop Consulting or Research.
An interesting fact about Sarah is that she has been inducted into the DTA Agricultural Honor Society! Sarah is serving this year as Sentinel!
This weeks Officer Spotlight is Allyson Shively! Allyson is an Equine Science and Breeding major from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania!
She was a member of the Big Spring FFA Chapter and she received her American Degree this past year at Convention.
Her plans after graduation is to complete the Kentucky Equine Management Internship with breeding and continue her work with thoroughbreds. Allyson is proudly serving as this years Reporter!
A big THANK YOU goes out to everyone who attended or helped with our Annual Leadership Conference yesterday! We couldn’t do it without any of you. It was great to see campus turn blue as FFA members from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland learned more about a CDE/LDE. Kendra Anstett is this weeks Officer Spotlight! Kendra is an Agricultural Education major from West Hartland, Connecticut!
She was a member of the Northwestern Regional High School FFA Chapter and proudly represented them this past October as she received her American Degree.
She plans to either continue her education by earning her doctorate in Animal Science or by working in an FFA program at the high school level. Kendra is serving as this years Treasurer!

Our next officer spotlight is our chapters Secretary, Taylor Donovan! Taylor is a Dairy Science major from Newville, Pennsylvania.
She has earned the American Degree where she represented her home chapter of Big Spring! Taylor’s highest achievement during her FFA career was competing at National Convention in Agricultural Communications where her team earned a silver medal!
Taylor plans to take her degree to the next step by working with genetics and reproduction or dairy cow nutrition.
This weeks Officer Spotlight is Jamie Specca! She is an Agricultural Education major from the Northern Burlington FFA Chapter in Springfield, New Jersey.
Jamie has earned her American Degree and is currently serving as New Jersey FFA’s State President. Her goal is to be their National Officer Candidate at this years National Convention in October.
After school, she plans to become a high school teacher where she will focus on horticulture classes!
Jamie is proudly serving DVU FFA as this years Vice President!

Emily Aukamp is a Sophomore majoring in Equine Management and Business. Her home chapter is Manor FFA in Lancaster, PA. She has achieved her Keystone degree and previously raised ostriches for her SAE!
Emily’s plans after graduating include earning her MBA and working towards developing her own equine business dealing with equine training, commercial carriage driving and event planning while being involved with cattle production.
Emily is proudly serving as this years PRESIDENT!
Our member of the month for January is Jacob Kinzer! At the PA FFA Mid-Winter Convention, he was selected to represent Pennsylvania as a National Officer Candidate. Jake will travel to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana at the end of October where he will go through a rigorous process over the course of the week in hopes to gain a spot on the National Officer team. We wish you all the best and we know you will make Pennsylvania FFA proud!
We are so excited to be serving as your officer team for 2020 and cannot wait to see what our members will accomplish in the coming months!
